Apartament 2-pokojowy 55 m2, koło ZOO, Hali Stulecia Overview
Apartament 2-pokojowy 55 m2, koło ZOO, Hali Stulecia – I booked it right before a weekend in Wrocław because I heard from a friend that the city center can get a bit chaotic, but this place keeps the buzz just at a comfortable distance. The apartment sits on Ludwika Pugeta, a narrow street that’s not on most maps but locals swear by it for its quiet charm. You’ll find yourself stepping out onto the cobblestones of Śródmieście, with the scent of fresh pastries from the bakery on Ulica Jagiellońska wafting through the air. Honestly, the first thing that struck me was how close you are to both the zoo and the Centennial Hall, yet you still feel like you’re in a private bubble. I mean, you can hear the animals in the distance on a sunny day, but the apartment’s windows are solid enough that the nightly chatter from the zoo doesn’t bleed through.
The check‑in was a breeze. The staff were friendly – no long lines, just a quick swipe of the key card and a small welcome note in Polish. The apartment itself is 55 m², a solid two‑room layout that feels more like a home than a hotel room. The living area is laid out with a comfy sofa, a flat‑screen TV, and a little coffee table that’s perfect for a quick espresso from the built‑in espresso machine. The kitchenette is surprisingly well‑equipped; there’s a pot, mugs, and even a set of copper pans that look like they belong in a 1950s kitchen. I spent a morning brewing a pot of tea, watching the city wake up past the window of the balcony – the view of the old town’s spires is something you don’t find in the tourist brochures. The bedroom is a cozy nest with a queen bed, high‑quality linens, and a small wardrobe. The bathroom is tidy, with a shower that has good water pressure – no need to worry about the city’s notoriously spotty hot water, which I’ve experienced before in other places.
Parking can be a hassle in Śródmieście, but there’s a small underground lot just a block away where you can drop off your car for a modest fee – you don’t have to hunt for street parking. I parked one afternoon near the zoo and came back to find the apartment still smelling faintly of the park’s fresh-cut grass, a subtle reminder that you’re right next to nature. Noise-wise, the apartment is near the zoo’s perimeter, so you hear a faint buzz of animals during the day, but at night it’s as quiet as a library – you’ll hear the city’s distant traffic, but not the roar of a tram passing by on the main street. The only time it gets slightly louder is during the summer, when the zoo hosts its nighttime animal shows and the crowd spills into the surrounding streets. But overall, it’s a pleasant balance: close enough to the action, far enough to sleep.
For breakfast, I ventured out to a tiny café on Rzeźnicza Street, just a 10‑minute walk away. They serve the best croissants I’ve ever tasted – flaky, buttery, with a hint of cardamom. I also discovered a hidden gem: a street market on the corner of Słowackiego and Wschodnia that sells fresh fruit and local cheese. If you’re into food, definitely check it out. And if you’re a history buff, the Centennial Hall is only a short walk from the apartment. You can wander around its marble halls or catch a concert if you’re lucky. The zoo, on the other hand, is a short tram ride, but it’s worth the trip, especially if you’re traveling with kids or just love seeing animals up close. The only thing I’d tweak is that the Wi‑Fi in the apartment can be a bit slow during peak hours, but I wasn’t too worried because the city’s café scene is strong, and you can easily switch to a local hotspot if you need steady streaming for a movie or a work call.
All in all, is a solid choice for anyone wanting to blend the buzz of Wrocław’s city life with
Best hotels in Wroclaw range from charming boutique properties in the historic Market Square to elegant island hotels with stunning views of the Oder River and Cathedral Island.

The accommodation is in a relatively quiet location, the equipment of the apartment is not completely modern, but it is pleasant to spend a few days.
For your money, you get trouble-free accommodation in a pleasant location, as long as you are not looking for the city center.Jane from United Kingdom (7/10)
The place was very clean with good kitchen equipment, and instant coffee, tea and sugar were available. I was very happy to have a bath and shower, with shampoo and body wash, and a washing machine with laundry detergent. It was fairly near to supermarkets and bus and tram stops. The owner was lovely and friendly and checked to see if I needed clean towels etc.

Rozkládací gauč byl trochu menší, nebyly to dvě plnohodnotné postele, ale s dítětem nebyl problém se vyspat. Paní majitelka velice milá, doporučila nám i nějaké místní zajímavosti.
