You’d think being in the old town center would mean constant street noise, but Eva faces an interior courtyard, so the only sounds were birds and the occasional distant tram. The kitchenette was fully stocked with real coffee (not just instant), and there were actual spices, which might seem small but when you’re trying to make a simple dinner after traveling, it makes all the difference. The bed linen smelled fresh, like it had been line-dried, and the bathroom had that hotel-shampoo luxury stuff that somehow always works better than whatever I bring.

Location-wise, it’s a two-minute walk to the Market Square, but here’s the thing—most tourists stay right on the square and complain about the noise. From Apartament Eva, I could be in the action within seconds but retreat to actual peace and quiet. There’s a brilliant little bakery called Oberża on Kazimierza Wielkiego Street, maybe three minutes away, where the croissants are buttery perfection and the barista knows how to make a proper flat white. Oh, and parking? Well, street parking is a nightmare here like everywhere in the old town, but there’s a garage just around the corner on Świdnicka that’s reasonably priced if you’re driving. I stayed for four nights and honestly considered extending—I mean, where else are you going to find a place that feels this authentic and still get that kind of 9.1 rating from previous guests? It’s the kind of spot you tell your friends about because you know they’ll thank you later.
