The apartment itself is one of those older Wrocław buildings, you know the type with the heavy wooden doors and that slightly creaky but charming staircase. When you step inside Apartament Ingoo 2, there’s this really nice smell – not perfumed or anything, just clean, you know? The owner had left fresh flowers on the kitchen counter, which was a sweet touch I wasn’t expecting. Actually, speaking of the kitchen, it’s fully stocked with real pans and not that flimsy stuff some places throw in just to say they have one. There’s a little balcony too, and while it’s not huge, you can sit out there with your morning coffee and watch people walking their dogs down below – it’s surprisingly peaceful for being right in the city center. The bed? Honestly, it’s one of those rare hotel beds that doesn’t feel like it’s going to collapse or give you back pain, and the windows actually block out the street noise pretty well. I mean, you’ll hear the occasional tram rumble by, but nothing that’ll ruin your sleep.

Check-in was smooth – the host left detailed instructions and the key in a lockbox, no awkward lobby waiting – and there’s paid parking right around the corner if you’re driving (though honestly, you won’t need it since everything’s walkable). The Wi-Fi worked perfectly for video calls, which was important since I had to work a few hours during my stay. I’d recommend getting there before dinner time because there’s this great little pierogi place called Pasibus just a five-minute walk away that serves the most incredible cheese and potato ones I’ve ever had. The neighborhood gets a bit livelier in the evenings, especially on weekends when the young crowd heads out, but it never feels rowdy or unsafe. Honestly, if you’re looking for a place that feels authentic but still has all the basics nailed down – good location, comfortable bed, working everything – this is it.
