Apartament Midnight Blue Overview

Apartament Midnight Blue sits tucked into the heart of Śródmieście, right on Księcia Witolda, a street that feels like a secret alley to locals. The building’s façade is that classic Polish brick with a splash of midnight blue paint that really pops against the gray cityscape. When I walked up the stone steps, I could almost hear the distant laughter from the nearby cafés on Rynek, and the clatter of tourists’ feet on the cobbles. The lobby was surprisingly intimate—just a few low tables, a single barista making espresso, and a concierge who greeted me with a warm “Cześć!” She handed me a small keycard and mentioned that the check‑in time was 3 pm but she’d let me drop my bags early if the room was ready.

The apartment itself is a cozy 25‑square‑meter space that feels surprisingly airy thanks to the large windows that frame the city skyline. The bed was a queen with a mattress that actually gave me that perfect “just right” feel—firm but not crushing. I mean, the sheets are this soft microfiber that feels like a hug, and the pillows are just the right weight for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom has a glass shower instead of a curtain, which is a nice touch—water falls in a clean, almost Zen‑like splash, and the tiles are a muted gray that doesn’t get dusty in the winter. There’s a small fridge and a compact stove, so I could whip up a quick breakfast when I woke up, but honestly, the real magic is that tiny window that lets you see the street below, where the tram whistles and the aroma of fresh bread from a bakery on Gdańska Street wafts in. Parking is a bit of a hassle—there’s no free street parking, but there’s a paid underground lot just a block away, and the staff can reserve a spot for you if you call ahead. Noise-wise, the city never sleeps, but because it’s a three‑star hotel, the walls are decent; you can hear the street outside, but it’s more of a city hum than a full‑blown siren.

After a quick shower, I stepped out onto the balcony—well, a tiny balcony that’s more of a ledge than a deck—and grabbed a coffee from the café down on Św. Marcin to the right. The street there is lined with old wooden storefronts, and the locals sit on the benches with their morning coffee, chatting about the latest football match. I wandered over to the Market Square just a few minutes away, and the scent of pierogi and grilled kielbasa filled the air. It’s the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time, especially during the summer months when the city buzzes and the cafés spill onto the sidewalks. I even caught a street performer playing a violin near the Cathedral—his music sounded like a lullaby for the city. For dinner, I dined at a tiny bistro on Piotrkowska, where the owner knew my name and recommended a mushroom pierogi that was so good it made me whisper a thank‑you in Polish. By the time I returned to the apartment, the lights were dimming, the city’s chatter softened, and I felt like I’d gotten a true slice of Wrocław life. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a local’s home but still has the comforts of a hotel, is a solid pick—just bring a sense of adventure and a willingness to wander a little.

Early hotels booking in Wroclaw requires advance planning during peak cultural seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s vibrant arts scene and unique attractions.

Perfect! One of the best apartments I’ve rented. Owner thought of everything. Comfort, location, cleanness, air conditioning, comfortable bed and various small things. We managed to find free parking spot for our car according to host instructions.

  • Jaume from Italy (10/10)

We have been in several apartments during our stay in Poland, and this one is, by far, the best one we've been in. It is about 10 min walk from the main square. The apartment is fully equipped, with a very nice kitchen, great bathroom. It is spacious and clean. The kitchen has all you need to prepare a meal, even oil, spices, coffee machine and cookies! We stayed in 4 in there and did not feel crowded like in other similar places we've been in the past.

  • Άννα from Greece (10/10)

This apartment's photos do not do it justice at all. It was gorgeous, excellently equipped, in a great location and we found parking 20 seconds away from the entrance of the building. The best thing for all of us was the shower. Warm water with great pressure, taking a shower was so enjoyable that none of us wanted to get out of the amazing rain showerhead.

The view from the balcony was lovely, self check-in was quick and easy and the bed and the sofa were very comfortable and provided a good night's rest all three of us. The serenity of the apartment and the neighborhood also helped in making our stay more relaxed.

The hosts were amazing. So welcoming, so informative beforehand and they gave us detailed instructions about the parking and the apartment. Their hospitality was unparalleled.

Our stay in this beautiful apartment and the welcoming of our wonderful hosts made our stop in Wrocław even more memorable. Hopefully we will have the chance to return some day and if not, we will make sure to let anyone we know who travels to Wrocław know that if this place is available, there is no reason to search for any other place to stay.
