Apartament Przy Bulwarze Overview
Apartament Przy Bulwarze sits right on plac Jana Pawła II, smack in the heart of Wrocław’s Stare Miasto. When I first stepped out of the elevator, the smell of freshly baked rye bread drifted from the bakery on Rynek, and the chatter of tourists and locals mingled over croissants and strong coffee. The staff at the front desk were surprisingly friendly for a three‑star spot – they greeted me with a warm “Dzień dobry” and handed over a keycard that glowed bright blue. Check‑in was quick, though the concierge had a habit of asking if I’d like a city map; I declined, already knowing where the Wawel Cathedral and the market square were from my last visit in spring.
The apartment itself is a cozy, well‑spaced unit that feels more like a home than a hotel room. The living area has a sofa that’s incredibly soft, and the window overlooks the cobblestones of Plac Grunwaldzki – you can hear the distant clatter of tram wheels and the occasional shout from a street musician. The bed is a generous king‑size with linen that’s clean and crisp, but the mattress is a bit firmer than I’m used to – a minor gripe I’ll share with the next traveler. The bathroom is modern, with a rain shower that’s surprisingly powerful for a three‑star place; the glass panels let in a nice amount of natural light. Wi‑Fi is actually decent, though during the summer rush it can drop to a sluggish 2‑Mbps ping – just remember to download your playlists before you need them.
Parking is a breeze because there’s a municipal garage just a block away, just down Łazienkowska Street, and they offer a daily rate that’s a fraction of the city center’s premium spots. If you’re staying during the Christmas market season, the noise can get a bit loud – the market stalls line up on the square and you’ll hear the jingling of Santa hats. But by 10 PM, the city quiets down and you can almost hear your own breathing. The check‑in process is straightforward, but they do ask for a photo ID; just have it handy. One thing I noticed is that the elevator’s music is usually a soft jazz playlist that’s perfect for a relaxed vibe. The staff recommend the nearby cafe, “Charlotte,” on Hala Stulecia; they’re known for their cinnamon rolls, and the barista knows your name when you’re a regular.
If you’re looking for a place that feels like a slice of the city rather than a generic hotel, this place is solid. The location is unbeatable: just a three‑minute walk to the Oder River promenade, and a five‑minute stroll to the Silesian Museum on Świdnicka Street. The only real downside is that the room’s closet is a bit narrow – I had to lay my coat flat to make space for my shoes. But the overall experience is genuinely warm, and the staff go out of their way to recommend hidden gems like the underground speakeasy on Grzegorzewskiego Street or the ceramic shop on Jagiellońska. Honestly, if you’re planning a quick stay or a longer visit to Wrocław, offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and a touch of local charm.

This is the best apartment we've ever stayed in! We travel often and have many places to compare it with, but this apartment exceeded all our expectations. It is beautifully furnished, cozy, and clean. It's perfect for a family stay, with a quiet courtyard that offers a sense of privacy and comfort.
The location is also excellent – you can easily reach any part of the city without having to transfer. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and cozy stay. We will definitely come back here again!
