Apartament Rynek Overview
I found myself strolling down Rynek Ratusz 16/19 loc.6 the day I first heard about Apartament Rynek—just a quick glance from a friend’s Instagram story, a “you know what, you should stay in a place that feels like the city itself” recommendation. The building is a slender slice of the old town’s historic rhythm, a stone façade that dates back to the 17th century, yet inside it’s surprisingly modern without the usual hotel gloss. The lobby is a low-ceilinged, sun‑lit space that feels more like a cozy apartment than a business center. The staff greet you with a quick, “Welcome to the heart of Wrocław,” and the check‑in is as efficient as it can be in a city that’s always humming.
We unpacked at 15:30, which is decent for the city center—no midnight rush, but a few locals were already sipping coffee at the corner café. The room itself is a clean, two‑bedroom unit that’s big enough for a small family or a couple who likes a little extra space. The walls are painted in soft neutrals, and the décor has a touch of Polish folk art—think tiny embroidered pillows that remind you of the hand‑woven textiles from the nearby Targowisko. I love the fact that the windows look straight out onto the cobblestone street, so you can hear the church bells from St. John the Baptist (Cofradia) ringing every hour, and the distant chatter of people in the square. The bed is a surprisingly comfortable hybrid mattress that’s firm enough to keep you from feeling like you’re sleeping on a sofa.
The only real downside is the parking situation. Wrocław’s old town is a maze of narrow lanes, and finding a spot can be a bit of a scavenger hunt. The hotel offers a small underground parking bay—what you’d call a “parking space” if you’re used to the American concept—but it’s shared with other residents, so you’ll have to wait a bit if you’re arriving late. I did get a spot, but it was a bit of a scramble. On the bright side, the city’s public transport is a breeze: trams and buses are just a block away, and there’s a bike‑sharing station on the square for those who want to explore on two wheels. If you’re staying during the summer, be prepared for the square to fill with tourists and the smell of pierogi from the street vendors to be almost overpowering, but that’s part of the charm.
When it comes to the neighborhood, you’ll find yourself right in the middle of the action. Just a five‑minute walk leads you to the famous Ostrów Tumski, where the cathedral’s spire dominates the skyline, or to the Hala Stulecia, a huge circular arena that hosts everything from concerts to football matches. If you’re hunting for a quiet meal, there’s a tiny trattoria on Piotrkowska Street that’s known for its homemade pierogi—don’t miss the mushroom variety. The only thing that can be a bit noisy is the traffic on the main road, but the building’s thick walls keep most of it out, so you can actually hear the muffled hum of distant traffic without losing the sense of being in the city center.
Honestly, staying at felt like having a home base that’s fully integrated into the city’s pulse. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and the views from the windows are priceless. If you’re looking for a place that’s not just a hotel but a slice of Wrocław itself, this is the spot. You’ll get the authentic local vibe, the convenience of nearby public transport, and the bonus that you can step out and feel the city’s heartbeat at any hour of the day. It’s not a luxury suite, but it’s a place that feels like you’ve found a place to belong in the heart of a historic Polish city.
Apartments in Wroclaw provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Polish markets and cook with regional Silesian specialties.

The apartment is in the city centre, so the position is great for visiting the city. It has free and good WiFi, a kitchenette, towels, and iron. The bed is comfy and the space of the entire apartment is very large. The communication with the host for the information regarding how to get into the apartment was perfectly fine.

Quick and easy communication with the owners, who were very helpful at sorting out the car park. Lovely location right on the market place with everything we needed for a short stay. Comfortable beds. Definitely worth recommending.

It is much more spacious than it looks on the pictures. Very comfortable bed. It has everything you need! Shower is not that small as some people previously said. We also didn’t hear noises from the neighbours. There are also small fans to cool down the air in hot weather. Perfect cosy apartment!
