Apartament Wrocław Borowska Overview
Apartament Wrocław Borowska sits on 201 Borowska in the heart of Krzyki, a neighborhood that feels like a quiet side street of the city, tucked away from the main arteries but still within a stone‑throw of the bustling market square. I first spotted it while winding down from a bike ride along the Oder River, the building’s warm, earthy façade catching the late‑afternoon sun. The check‑in was a breezy affair – a single desk by the entrance, a friendly receptionist who asked if I needed a bike rack (yes, please), and a key card that worked on the very first try. No long lines, no confusing instructions, just a quick “welcome to Wrocław” and a map of the best cafés in the area.
The apartment itself is a tidy three‑star gem, a 3‑bedroom layout that feels more like a home than a hotel. The living room is spacious, with a soft sofa that invites you to sink in after a day of sightseeing, and a flat‑screen TV that’s stocked with local Polish channels for those nights when you want to feel more like a Wrocławian than a tourist. I found that the Wi‑Fi was surprisingly fast – a big plus when I was streaming my favorite podcast about Polish history. The kitchen is fully equipped, which is a lifesaver if you’re staying for a week or more; the stainless steel appliances, the espresso machine, and the local ceramic mugs that look like they belong in a gallery all add up to a sense of quality that feels personal rather than corporate. When I cooked a quick dinner, the aroma of fresh herbs from the garden outside drifted into the room, turning the space into something that felt like a home on a balcony.
Noise-wise, the building is fairly quiet; the only occasional sound is the distant hum of the tram line that runs parallel to the street – a reminder that you’re in the city but still a few minutes away from the buzz of the market square. I did notice that the apartment’s windows are single‑pane, so on very windy days the wind can be a bit of a bother, but that’s a minor quibble in a place that offers such comfort. Parking is a non‑issue because there’s a small underground lot right across the street, and the staff will even hand you a parking ticket – no extra fee if you’re staying more than a week. The staff are all friendly and local; one of them even offered to show me the best place for pierogi in a nearby street, and I’m still planning a return trip.
The location is something I’d call “just the right spot.” You’re a short walk from the historic St. John’s Church on the market square, but you can also stroll down to the quieter streets of Słodowa or even take a bus to the university district for a more student‑friendly vibe. The corner coffee shop on 203 Borowska is a must‑visit – their flat‑white is strong, and the pastries are made fresh daily. I found myself ordering a croissant and a latte at 6:30 a.m. because the shop opens early, and that quiet morning ritual was a highlight of the stay. If you’re a night owl, the area around 201 Borowska is surprisingly calm, so you can enjoy a late‑night drink at the bar on the street without worrying about waking the neighbors.
Overall, feels like a reliable, well‑maintained home base that offers more than just a room. The small touches – the local guidebook in the hallway, the thoughtful selection of Polish teas in the kitchen, the personal greeting from the receptionist – make it clear that the staff cares about their guests. The only thing I would suggest is perhaps adding a small desk in the living room for those who need to work; it’s a tiny detail that would make the space feel even more complete. But honestly, if you’re looking for a place that’s not too touristy, offers a genuine Wrocław feel, and has all the practical bits sorted out, this is the spot. You’ll get the sense that you’re staying in a real neighborhood, not a faceless hotel chain.
Best hotels in Wroclaw range from charming boutique properties in the historic Market Square to elegant island hotels with stunning views of the Oder River and Cathedral Island.

Great quiet location, surprisingly spacious apartment with modern amenities. 2 minutes walk from the bus stop, 10 minutes from the tram stop. The apartment was equipped with a nice kitchen and a beautiful bathroom. WiFi was good. There was a possibility to watch TV in the living room and in the bedroom. Sleeping on the sofa bed was also without problems. Our stay met our expectations, we enjoyed it to the fullest. We look forward to another visit next year.
