Apartamenty na Kazamatach 24 Old Town Wroclaw Overview
Apartamenty na Kazamatach 24 Old Town Wroclaw sits just a stone‑throw from the heart of Stare Miasto, and honestly, that’s the first thing that pulls you in. I remember walking out of the old town gate, the cobblestones still damp from the last rain, and spotting the building’s classic brick façade with its small, tidy balcony. The address—plac Jana Pawła II 18—puts it right next to the bustling market square, so you’re literally in the middle of the city’s chatter. If you’re a foodie, you’ll notice that the corner café on ul. Cieszyńskiego (the same street where you pick up keys at Hotel Dikul) serves the best espresso in town; the aroma of freshly ground beans lingers long after you finish your latte. Parking is a bit of a hunt, but the paid lot at Dikul is only a short walk away, and they’ve got a few spots that actually stay open in the evenings—good news if you’re staying late after a night out.
Check‑in was a breeze, which is always a relief after a long flight. The receptionist at Dikul was friendly, gave you a quick rundown of the apartment’s layout, and handed over the keys with a wink—like she’s saying, “Welcome to your home.” The apartment itself feels like a cozy nest, not a sterile hotel room. The living area is bright, with large windows that frame the old town’s skyline, and the kitchenette is surprisingly well stocked with a kettle, a set of pots, and even a small spice rack that’s perfect for whipping up a quick pierogi dinner. I mean, who doesn’t love a good pierogi, right? The bed is a solid 14‑inch mattress that’s comfortable enough for a full night’s sleep, and the linens are crisp—no cheap hotel feel here. The bathroom is a clean, minimalist space, but the shower’s water pressure is a bit on the low side, which might be a bother if you’re used to a high‑pressure blast.
Noise-wise, you’ll find that the apartment is quiet most of the day, except for the occasional distant traffic rumble and the clatter from the market stalls. The best part is that the building’s walls are thick enough to keep the street noise at bay, so you can actually hear the wind rustling through the trees on the island of the cathedral—soothing, honestly. If you’re a night owl, be prepared for the usual city hum; there are a few bars and clubs just a block away, so the music can bleed through the walls a bit during the late hours. But overall, it’s a good balance. The only minor gripe I have is that the Wi‑Fi password is a bit of a hassle to remember—just a quick note in your phone will do the trick.
In short, staying at feels like living in a well‑maintained apartment in the middle of a historic city, with all the perks of a local neighborhood and the convenience of a 3‑star hotel. You get the best of both worlds: the charm of Wrocław’s Old Town, the comfort of a home‑like space, and the small, thoughtful touches that only someone who’s actually lived there can offer. If you’re planning a trip, this place will be a solid base for exploring the city’s hidden corners, its culinary delights, and its vibrant nightlife, all while having a quiet, comfortable place to unwind at the end of the day.

Looked really luxurious, had a lot of cool features like hidden cupboards and a switchable privacy glass. The house was beautiful too and was in a great location near the old town.

Particular to Apartment 9. It was clean, comfortable and in a good location, very modern for this wonderful city. The unit has all the facilities that a traveler needs. Microwave, refrigerator, cook top, sink, shower, toilet, complete bedding for all. All in all very nice.

Easy check-in. Close to the city centre (!!!), nice windows, a lot of space. Nearby there are parking lots, shops, cafes. In general, good option for the short stay. Also, though I would say the the cost could be a bit les, it was a very affordable option in comparison to other we saw for these days.
Sona from Poland (7/10)
The location itself is great given that it's close to everything. Although the weather outside was over 25 degrees, the room remained cool. Also, it was big and quite comfy for a couple.
