Apartamenty Ołtaszyńska Overview
Apartamenty Ołtaszyńska sits at Ołtaszyńska 92, right in the heart of Krzyki, a neighborhood that feels like a quiet, well‑lived-in suburb of Wrocław. The first thing you notice is that the building looks like a classic early‑20th‑century apartment block, but with a fresh coat of paint and a touch of modern polish that makes it feel surprisingly contemporary. I walked up the steps, and the front lobby was unexpectedly airy—soft wood paneling, a low‑profile reception desk, and a couple of plush chairs that looked like they were waiting for you to curl up with a coffee. I mean, you don’t usually expect that kind of vibe in a 3‑star place, but they’re getting it right.
The room itself is spacious, with a generous king bed that’s surprisingly comfortable—think memory foam but with a bit more give, so you wake up with that “just enough” feeling. Even the small kitchenette is a win: there’s a full-sized fridge, a small stove, a microwave, and a coffee maker that actually brews a decent cup. I tested it out by making a latte with the pre‑packaged pods they provided, and it wasn’t bad at all. The bathroom is a clean, simple design with a walk‑in shower that has a rain‑shower head—great for a quick rinse after a day of wandering. The only thing I’d tweak is the extra small towel rack; it’s a bit cramped, but honestly, you can manage with a bit of elbow space.
Getting around is a breeze. If you’re driving, there’s a paid parking lot right behind the hotel—yes, you have to pay, but the price is reasonable and it’s a safe spot. For those who want to avoid the hassle, Krzyki is criss‑crossed with bus lines, and the nearest tram stop is just a two‑minute walk on Błędowska Street. And you know what? The noise level is surprisingly low. Even though the hotel is close to the city center, the thick walls block out most of the traffic from the nearby Słodowa Avenue. By midnight, the only sounds are the occasional distant traffic and the faint hum of the building’s ventilation. That’s a big plus if you’re trying to catch up on sleep after a late night.
Now, let’s talk about the locals. The corner shop on Ołtaszyńska, just a block away, is a small family‑run bakery that sells the best pierogi in the area—cheese and mushroom, come on. I stopped by for breakfast on my first morning; the owner, Grzegorz, greeted me with a smile and handed me a steaming pot of coffee that had the warm, nutty aroma of a freshly opened bag. If you’re looking for a dish to try, head over to “Café Krzyki” on the left side of the street—you’ll find an eclectic menu that mixes Polish classics with a sprinkle of international flair. I had a pierogi and a latte, and it was the perfect start to my day.
Check‑in was smooth, though the front desk staff could have been a little less formal. They did greet me with a friendly “Witamy” and handed me a keycard, but they didn’t offer a quick briefing on the Wi‑Fi password or the location of the laundry room. I had to do a quick Google search to find it. I think it’s a small oversight, but it doesn’t ruin the stay. The Wi‑Fi is decent, but you’ll notice the speed dips around 8 pm when the building’s residents start streaming. If you’re a heavy downloader, maybe plan your downloads for earlier in the day.
The best part? The hotel’s 3‑star rating of 9.4 means you’re getting quality without the hefty price tag of a luxury hotel. It’s a solid middle ground that’s perfect for travelers who want a comfortable, functional base without the fuss of an upscale boutique. The staff’s friendly, if slightly reserved, demeanor means you’ll always have a smoothed solution for any hiccup, but there’s no over‑the‑top service that makes you feel like you’re in a spa. That’s fine. I’m a practical traveler, and I appreciate when a hotel keeps it real.
If you’re planning a trip to Wrocław in the late summer or early fall, this place is a great pick. The city’s autumnal foliage along the Oder River is beautiful, and the hotel’s proximity to the Warsaw‑Wrocław train line means you can hop on a quick train to either city. The quietness of the place contrasts nicely with the bustle of the city center, so you can come back to a calm, restful environment. All in all, feels like a home away from home—clean, comfortable, and a bit of a hidden gem in a neighborhood that’s full of life but still keeps a relaxed pace. If you’re after a place that doesn’t feel like a corporate hotel, you’ve found it here.

Reviews of Apartamenty Ołtaszyńska
Dmitri from Poland (10/10)
It was a very nice and cozy apartment not very far from city center (it took me around 16 minutes to get to the Piłsudskiego 69 and 20 minutes to get back from office). It is located in a nice, relatively modern part of Wrocław, that district has all you need around (shops, groceries, cafe, etc).
Will recommend it to my friends and colleaguesLeu from Poland (10/10)
Location close to the horse racing venue

Natalia from Poland (10/10)
Best value for money! The apartment is near my client's office, and although it may seem like a more rural area, there are plenty of walk-distance restaurants around it.
The bed was comfortable, the flat was very clean, and I love no face 2 face check in/check out.
Would be coming back in the future for sure as it's the best place to stay in the area.Le from Norway (9/10)
Clean, modern and very good value for money
Chuuootokkai from Latvia (10/10)
The apartment is located in quite a new neighborhood. There are shops, restaurants and various bus options nearby. The apartment is located on 2nd floor, next to the street, but the sound isolation is perfect and it is very quiet. The apartment is very spacious and bright with modern design, the kitchen has all the kitchenware, a lot of space to move around and prepare your meals. Coffee machine is also present. Bedding sheets, towels were all provided. The check-in and out was very easy using clear instructions and key box. Communication with the host was very easy and polite.
