Apartementy Plac Solny 20 Overview

Apartementy Plac Solny 20 is tucked right in the heart of Stare Miasto, just a quick stroll from the bustling Rynek. I remember walking out of the lobby and the scent of freshly baked pierogi drifting from the nearby bakery on Kilińskiego Street—so inviting, honestly. The front desk was friendly enough to give you a map of the city etched on a napkin, and the staff made the check‑in feel like a warm hug rather than a routine. (They even offered a quick tour of the nearby tram stops if you’re not familiar with the system.) The building itself, a solid brick structure with a touch of historic polish, feels like a modern farmhouse meets classic Wrocław charm, which is a win in my book.

The apartment itself is spacious, with a living area that opens onto a small balcony overlooking a quiet cobblestone lane. You’ll notice the tasteful mix of industrial décor and soft, linen curtains that make the space feel both chic and comfortable. The kitchen is surprisingly well‑equipped—there’s a full espresso machine, a kettle, and a few local mugs that give you that “home away from home” vibe. Wi‑Fi is decent, though you might need to hit refresh a couple of times during peak hours, especially in the evenings when the streetlights flicker and the café on Wielicka Street is buzzing. Noise-wise, the apartment is a stone’s throw from the tram line, so you might hear the clatter at night, but it never gets too disruptive; a good pair of earplugs will do the trick if you’re a light sleeper. Parking can be a bit of a scavenger hunt on the street, but the hotel offers a small, paid underground space that’s a lifesaver if you’re driving. The real perk for local travelers is the free coffee bar—there’s a daily espresso, a selection of teas, and a jar of homemade honey that’s surprisingly sweet.

If you’re planning a visit during the summer, you’ll find the area lively but still manageable. The street musicians on the market square create a lively soundtrack that’s almost part of the city’s DNA—one of those sounds that makes you feel alive, you know? During the holiday season, the square lights up and the aroma of glühwein and roasted chestnuts fills the air, but it also draws crowds, so you might want to book early. I personally found that the best time to explore the nearby Galeria Dominikańska and the historic Hala Stulecia is late afternoon, when the sun hits the glass and the whole place glows. The hotel’s concierge is a goldmine of local tips—she once suggested a hidden gem of a café on Słowackiego Street that serves the best babeczki in town.

All in all, offers a blend of comfort, convenience, and charm that feels genuine rather than staged. The rooms are clean, the staff are genuinely helpful, and the location is so central that you’re literally at the pulse of Wrocław. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a storybook chapter set in the city, this place is a solid choice. Just remember to bring a pair of earplugs for the tram at night, and maybe a small map if you’re not a street‑savvy traveler. After a day of wandering the old town, you’ll find the hotel’s balcony a perfect spot to unwind, sip a local wine, and watch the sunset over the cathedral’s spires. And honestly, that’s a pretty nice way to end a day in this beautiful city.

Hotels near me in Wroclaw offer convenient access to the old town, where guests can easily walk to the Gothic Town Hall, Centennial Hall, and the famous dwarf statues.

Perfect location, just off the main square, but didn't have any issues with noise. They made great use of the space with the bed downstairs under the staircase. Great for a family. We were able to leave our luggage when we checked out.

The apartment is right on the main square. We visited for the Christmas market and it was awesome to be able to pop back into the apartment to warm up throughout the day.
Wroclaw is a very walkable city and this apartment is very centrally located. We were able to pull up and offload luggage and park at the nearby theater garage and only paid €38 for the entire long weekend.

  • Justyna from United Kingdom (10/10)

The flat is specious and well appointed. Bed arrangement is quite quirky but comfortable. Because of its central location it is so easy pop down to local restaurants or have a stroll around Rynek. The concierge service makes access to the flat secure and quite straightforward and is super helpful with all Wroclaw related questions.
