The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and I loved waking up to the morning light filtering through those tall windows overlooking the street below. You can hear the occasional tram rolling by and people chatting on their way to the Market Square, but it’s not disruptive – just enough to remind you where you are. Actually, if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs for the weekend mornings when the street gets busier with tourists.

What really impressed me was how Apartimento Central Prime2 manages to feel central without being chaotic. You’re literally a two-minute walk from the town hall and Cloth Hall, but when you duck down Krawiecka Street, it’s noticeably quieter than the main drag of the old town. There’s this little café called Kawiarnia Literacka just downstairs that serves the best Polish breakfast – their scrambled eggs with kielbasa absolutely made my morning. The staff was super chill about letting me store my luggage for a few hours after checkout, which honestly saved me from dragging it around all day. I should mention that parking in this neighborhood is basically impossible unless you want to pay ridiculous rates, but there’s a decent public garage about five minutes away at the Hala Stulecia if you’re driving in. For the price and location, I’d say this place punches well above its weight – I actually found myself recommending it to other travelers I met because it felt like the kind of spot that doesn’t disappoint.
