Apartment Dąbrowskiego by The Railway Station Wroclaw Overview
Apartment Dąbrowskiego by The Railway Station Wroclaw sits at Dąbrowskiego 40 klatka C, in the heart of Krzyki, just a stone’s throw from the bustling Main Street and the historic Wrocław train station. I got there on a rainy Tuesday and the first thing I noticed was the faint scent of fresh coffee wafting from the lobby—someone had left a pot on the stove, and it was the kind of cozy aroma that makes you feel instantly at home. The front desk staff were quick, cheerful, and handed me a key card with a friendly “just let us know if you need anything.” I mean, it’s a 3‑star place, but the personal touch really sets it apart. The building’s exterior is a mix of brick and glass, and right outside there’s a small, shady courtyard with a couple of benches. If you’re into walking, the Słodowa street is just a block away, and you can hop off a tram at the St. Paul stop within minutes to explore the Old Town.
The apartment itself is a compact, well‑kept space that feels more like a chic loft than a hotel room. The living area opens onto a balcony with a view of the city’s skyline; the windows let in the city’s hum—honestly, you can hear the distant bells from the cathedral, and every now and then a tram whistles by. The bed is surprisingly comfortable, with a mattress that’s firm yet plush, and the linens are crisp. The kitchenette is functional, though I did notice there’s no espresso machine—so if you’re a coffee junkie, you’ll want to grab a latte from a nearby café in the evening. The bathroom is clean and modern, with a rain shower that’s a nice touch after a long day of exploring. I also appreciated the subtle scent of lavender in the room—something the staff added for a touch of calm.
Parking is a bit of a mixed bag. There’s a small, free parking lot on the ground floor of the building, but it’s tight—so if you’re driving, you might want to bring a car that’s easy to maneuver. If you’re staying during the busy summer months, you’ll find the street a bit noisy, especially around 6‑7 pm when the local bars open up. That said, the building’s windows are double‑glazed, so the noise doesn’t seep in too much. Wi‑Fi is decent, but I did hit a snag once when the connection dipped during a video call; the staff were quick to reset the router, though. Check‑in was smooth—just a quick swipe of the card and you’re in—but if you’re arriving early, the staff is very patient and will help you with any extra luggage. Overall, if you’re looking for a spot that feels like a home base with a bit of local charm, is a solid choice that won’t leave you disappointed.
