Though fair warning – if you’re a light sleeper, maybe request a room facing the back because Podwale does pick up some traffic, especially on weekends.

What really sold me on Apartments Odra Tower was how easy everything felt. Check-in was smooth, the staff knew their stuff without being pushy, and they had this local guide map that actually pointed out places like Bacciarello bakery (seriously, go there for breakfast) instead of just the usual tourist traps. Parking was straightforward too – there’s an underground lot that’s secure, though it’ll cost you around 20 złoty a night. The neighborhood’s got this perfect balance of old and new – you’ve got medieval walls literally steps away, but then there’s this cool craft beer bar called Piwoteka just around the corner that opened last year and has become a local favorite. I went there one night and ended up talking to a Wrocław native who gave me tips on the best spots to explore – none of which were in any guidebook. That’s the thing about this area; it’s central but not overrun, modern but respectful of its history. I’d definitely stay at Apartments Odra Tower again if I’m back in Wrocław, which I probably will be.
