So I stayed at Apartments Space and More, Dmowskiego last month and honestly, it completely surprised me. I mean, you step off the street and suddenly you’re in this sleek, modern space that feels nothing like your typical Polish accommodation. The building’s on Romana Dmowskiego, which sounds fancy but it’s really just a solid 15-minute walk from the market square – not quite the 20 minutes they claim, but who’s complaining when you’re weaving through the lovely streets of Śródmieście? The fourth floor location actually worked out great because you’re high enough to feel removed from the street noise but low enough that climbing the stairs doesn’t feel like a workout.

The self check-in system was surprisingly smooth – you get codes sent to your phone and everything just works, which is a relief when you’re arriving at 11 PM and don’t want to hunt down someone behind a desk. And the parking situation? Well, let me tell you, having that included parking space made everything so much easier. Wrocław’s city center can be a nightmare for driving and parking, especially with all the one-way systems and those ridiculously small medieval streets that weren’t exactly designed for modern traffic. The apartment itself had this great little kitchenette that actually had decent equipment – not just the bare minimum you find in some places. The mattress was comfortably firm, and I slept better there than I have in some five-star hotels, probably because the windows faced the courtyard so morning traffic wasn’t an issue.

What really sold me on Apartments Space and More, Dmowskiego was how it felt like a proper base for exploring the city without feeling touristy. You’re close enough to everything – there’s a decent supermarket just two blocks down Dmowskiego, and if you walk five minutes toward the river, you hit those amazing restaurants along Kazimierza Wielkiego. The neighborhood has this nice residential vibe mixed with enough cafes and bars that you never feel like you’ve wandered into the wrong part of town. Honestly, the only minor thing I’d mention is that the shower water pressure could be better, but that’s pretty common in European buildings of this age. The 9.5 rating they have is probably from people who, like me, appreciated finding something that’s clearly trying to do things right without all the pretension you sometimes get in historic hotel districts.
