I mean, there’s a little grocery store literally two blocks away on Wrocławska Street that stays open until 10 PM – super handy when you arrive late like I did. The balcony overlooking the courtyard was nice for morning coffee, though I should mention it faces away from the city center so you won’t get those golden evening views. But here’s the thing that sold me – the staff actually speak decent English and they’re not robotic about it. When I had trouble with the garage access (which, by the way, is included in the price but requires a bit of coordination), the guy at reception just walked me through it without making me feel stupid.

What really impressed me was how quiet it was despite being so close to the railway station. I mean, ApartWro 4th is maybe a 12-minute walk from the main station, which is perfect – close enough that you don’t need a taxi but far enough that you won’t be woken up by trains at dawn. The area gets pretty peaceful after 9 PM, which is great if you’re not into the whole bar scene. I rode mine down to the Market Square one morning and it took maybe 15 minutes – way more enjoyable than fighting tram crowds.

The only small thing is that check-in starts at 2 PM, and if you’re arriving from an early flight like I was, you might want to plan accordingly. Though they let me store my luggage and grab a coffee at the little café downstairs, so it wasn’t a big deal. The rating of 9.6 makes sense – it’s the kind of place that does all the small things right without trying too hard to impress you.
