They don’t start serving breakfast until 8 AM, which sounds annoying but actually works perfectly if you’re not one of those people who needs to rush out the door.

The staff warned me that parking is basically impossible in the immediate area during business hours, and they weren’t kidding – I watched a guy circle the block for twenty minutes looking for a spot. But if you’re smart about it and arrive after 6 PM, you can usually find something reasonable. I stayed three nights and by the third day, the lady at reception was greeting me by name, which made the whole experience feel less like staying in a hotel and more like crashing at a friend’s place – well, a stylish friend who knows all the good spots in town. The neighborhood actually gets pretty quiet after 10 PM, so light sleepers will appreciate that there’s no club noise bleeding through the walls like you’d get closer to the river.
