Arte-locum Apartamenty przy Rynku Overview
When I booked a stay at Arte-locum Apartamenty przy Rynku, I was hoping for a quiet spot in the heart of Wroclaw. I’m glad I did, because the place actually lives up to that promise. The building sits on Malarska, just a stone’s throw from the bustling market square, but the street itself is surprisingly calm – you get that old‑town vibe, with the cobblestones still echoing the footsteps of tourists and locals alike. Check‑in was a breeze: the front desk was friendly, and the staff handed me a key card with a quick rundown of the apartment’s quirks – the smart TV, the small espresso machine, and, most importantly, the Wi‑Fi password that worked flawlessly even on the busiest day of the week.
The apartment itself? Well, it’s a compact but thoughtfully designed space, with a living area that feels like a cozy loft. The walls are painted in soft neutrals, and there’s a big window that frames a view of the old stone bridge (Most), so you can see the river glinting in the afternoon light. I love how the kitchen is equipped with local ceramic pots – it’s a little nod to Wroclaw’s pottery heritage. The bed is surprisingly comfortable; the linens feel like a soft hug after a day of exploring. And the bathroom? It has a stone shower that’s a nice touch – the water feels cool and pure. The only thing that could use a tweak is the fridge; it’s a bit small, but that’s hardly a deal‑breaker for a short stay.
Noise levels are decent – you can hear the distant chatter from the market square, but it’s far enough that you’re not woken up in the middle of the night. If you’re a light sleeper, just lay a towel over the window. Parking is a bit of a puzzle: there’s no dedicated parking at the hotel, but there are some street spots on Piaskowa and the parking garage on Świdnicka. I parked on Piaskowa, but I had to make a quick detour to pull the keys from the lockbox – the staff let me know in advance, so no surprises.
The real magic of staying here is that you’re literally in the middle of what makes Wroclaw special. After breakfast, I strolled down to the Cathedral on Rynek, and the moment I stepped inside, I could smell the old wood and hear the faint echo of the church bells. On the way back, I popped into a tiny café on Żeromska that serves the best pierogies I’ve ever tasted – their spicy cabbage filling? Absolutely addictive. If you’re a foodie, you’ll want to try the local market on Tyniecka, where you can buy fresh produce and a few bottles of the regional wine for your dinner back at the apartment.
I also discovered that the best time to visit the market square is early in the morning, before the crowds, when the street musicians are just starting to play and the whole scene feels like a living postcard. Even at night, the square is beautifully lit, and you can sit at a sidewalk café, sip a glass of red and watch the city lights reflect on the River Oder. Wroclaw is a city that loves to stay up late, so if you’re a night owl, you’ll find plenty of nightlife around the university area on Świdnicka – but that’s a bit of a walk away if you want to stay close to the apartment.
All in all, is a solid, welcoming spot that feels like a local’s home rather than a generic hotel. The staff are genuinely helpful, the room is clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for anyone who wants to dive into the heart of Wroclaw without sacrificing a bit of peace and quiet. If you’re planning a trip, this place is a great starting point for exploring the city’s historic charm, its culinary delights, and its vibrant nightlife. Trust me – you’ll want to come back for a second stay, and when you do, you’ll know exactly where to go for the next slice of local life.
Wroclaw hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in Poland’s cultural capital, known for its vibrant student life and unique bronze dwarf installations.

It is in a great location and very close to the rynek. The apartment was cozy, and having a small kitchen was nice.

Great location, very clean, everything what you need. Highly recommend!
Joshua from Germany (9/10)
The apartment was clean and pretty well appointed. The bathroom wasn’t too small and there were plenty of plugs around the apartment to dry your hair while someone else used the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was quiet. There is a privacy curtain for the person who sleeps on the sleeper sofa.
Accessing the apartment is not complicated. The assigned parking is a 2 minute walk from the apartment. We booked our stay last minute and the property sent us all the important information quickly.David from United Kingdom (10/10)

Perfect size with all the amenities. Very comfortable bed, dark curtains, at busy street but closed windows make it proper quiet. Can't fault anything.

Perfect location, near market square. The apartment was spacious and clean. Situated in a busy area but still quiet due to the double glazed windows. Beds are comfortable.
