Boogie ApartHouse Old Town Overview
Boogie ApartHouse Old Town sits at ul. Garbary 2, smack in the heart of Stare Miasto, Wrocław. From the moment you step out of the old stone door, the scent of roasted coffee from the little café on ul. Piwnica mixes with the faint hint of freshly baked rye bread from the bakery on ul. Świętego Jana. The cobblestones are damp from the recent rain, giving that old‑world charm that makes you feel like you’re in a living postcard. The building itself is a blend of 19th‑century brick and modern glass; the lobby has exposed wooden beams that look like something from a 1970s film set (you know what I mean?). Check‑in is surprisingly breezy – the staff greet you with a friendly, “welcome to Wrocław,” and you’ll find your key card in a velvet sleeve. (Honestly, the security was a bit thorough, but they let you in right away.)
The rooms are where the real story starts. Each one has a king‑size bed that feels like a cloud, with linens that are crisp but not too stiff, and a view that either looks out onto the bustling market square or the quietude of a nearby courtyard. The bathrooms are surprisingly spacious, with a deep soaking tub that’s as large as a small pool – ideal after a day of tram rides. The only downside was the quiet buzz of the cooling system in the early morning; it’s a soft hiss that’s almost inaudible but can feel a bit intrusive if you’re a light sleeper. For a commuter, the parking situation is a mixed bag: there’s a paid garage on ul. Trzech Młynów about a 10‑minute walk away, but street parking near the market is a timed, competitive affair. If you’re traveling with a lot of luggage, the valet service (which is free at the hotel) is a lifesaver.
What really pulls you back to Boogie is the neighborhood vibe. If you’re looking to explore, just step out and end up at the historic St. Elizabeth’s Church, then hop over to the seasonal flower market on ul. Kopernika. The best time to visit is early in the morning when the city is still quiet; the streets are empty, and the only sounds are the distant chatter of monks and the clink of coffee cups. In the summer, the square gets lively with street musicians and food stalls – a sensory overload that’s oddly soothing. For a quieter evening, head down to the small bar on ul. Piwnica; the bartender knows everyone’s name and recommends a local craft beer that’s surprisingly smooth. The only critique I’d have is that the Wi‑Fi can be spotty in the older parts of the building, but the hotel offers a free hotspot in the lobby that’s usually reliable. All in all, it’s a place that feels like a home away from home, blending the old with the new in a way that only Wrocław can manage.
Hotels near me in Wroclaw offer convenient access to the old town, where guests can easily walk to the Gothic Town Hall, Centennial Hall, and the famous dwarf statues.

Location was great 5 minutes walk to the main square of Wrocław and many shops, bars and restaurants around. The room and the hotel was clean. Kitchen in the basement for a coffee and toaster machine was a plus. It’s okay for a few nights stay.
