Brassel Aparthotel Overview
I stumbled upon the Brassel Aparthotel the moment I walked into the historic heart of Wrocław, its brick façade nestled on Komandorska 4, right beside the buzzing market square—so close that you could hear the laughter of street vendors and the clink of coffee cups from the café on Powstańców Street. The building itself is a charming 3‑star spot, rated 8.6 on most review sites, but let me tell you, the real score is in the little details.
The check‑in was surprisingly smooth—no long queues, just a friendly front‑desk staff member who asked if I needed a taxi (I went for the tram instead). The apartment I booked had a tiny kitchenette, a decent sofa bed, and a window that opens onto the cobblestones of Stare Miasto. The view? Imagine a patchwork of historic facades, the scent of roasted chestnuts wafting from the bakery on Świdnicka Street, and the faint hum of traffic from the nearby highway. Parking is a bit of a scavenger hunt; there’s a shared underground lot a block away, but you’ll need a permit, so I brought my card just in case. If you’re a car‑owner, the next best thing is the bicycle rack on the block—brings the city close enough to feel the breeze.
Honestly, the noise level is pretty decent. The only thing that rattles me on the first night is the occasional late‑night conversation in the hallway, but it’s all, like, a whisper. I did notice the elevator ride from the basement to the 3rd floor was a tad slow—maybe they’re saving power, or maybe they just enjoy a leisurely ascent. The apartment’s floor is a clean, neutral white, the curtains are a muted gray, and the room smells faintly of fresh linen from the laundry line on the balcony. The balcony itself is a narrow slice of urban garden; I spent a couple of mornings sipping coffee while listening to the church bells from St. John’s.
What really makes this place special is the local vibe. From the apartment, you can step onto the cobblestones and reach the Market Square in less than a minute—there’s the famous Rynek, the colorful town hall, and the friendly locals who greet you with a “Dzień dobry” (good morning). The next block, you’ll find the bustling Białe Stąpale market, where you can grab fresh produce and maybe a slice of pierogi for lunch. And if you’re into nightlife, the bars on Grabiszyńska Street are just a short walk away—cheap, lively, and the kind of place where you easily strike up a conversation with a Polish traveler or a bunch of students studying abroad.
The only critique I’d offer is that the Wi‑Fi signal can be a bit spotty on the 3rd floor—so if you’re a digital nomad, check with the host first. But otherwise, it’s a cozy, well‑maintained apartment that feels more like a home than a hotel. The staff are genuinely helpful; I asked about a local café for lunch, and they recommended a place on Sienkiewicza Street that serves the best cappuccino in town. When the sun goes down, the city lights create a tapestry of colors, and you can hear the distant sound of a violin from a nearby café—perfect for a quiet evening in. If you’re visiting Wrocław during the spring or early autumn, you’ll get the best of both worlds: the city alive with tourists but still relaxed enough that you can take a leisurely stroll through the gardens of the Japanese Garden on the left side of the market square. In short, is an honest, comfortable spot that lets you soak up the real, everyday rhythm of Wrocław, and that’s something no glossy brochure can capture.
Wroclaw hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in Poland’s cultural capital, known for its vibrant student life and unique bronze dwarf installations.

Reviews of Brassel Aparthotel

Overall a great place. We've got levelled up room for great price and we're pretty happy with what we've experienced. Great bed, bathroom and breakfast. Almost city center, close to train station.
Viera from Ireland (9/10)
Comfortable bed, although it had a mattress topper.
Close proximity to the Old City of Wroclaw. Rynek – main square, is about 10 – 15 minutes walk. The main railway station and the bus station is about a 5 minute walk.
The Wroclawia shopping centre is also 10 minutes walking from the hotel.
Abundance of little "coffee shops", restaurants, pubs and attractions (if someone likes sightseeing, museums, art galleries, and beautiful churches). Near the hotel was also theater, cinema and an opera house. Also well known Arkady – the pubs and small pizzerias, Georgian restaurant, Palestinian restaurant, authentic Polish food restaurant, and many more are built within the railway bridge arcades. The price of drinks and food is way less than in the Rynek.-
Visiting the ZOO was awesome, money well spent. The list can go on.
The breakfast is continental type, which is fine, but if someone likes "full Irish or British" it's not for the person. There was self service for everyone – coffee maker, kettle to make tea, milk, cereals, daily fresh bread, sweet bread, fruit, yogurts, cold meats, scrambled eggs, breakfast sausages, porridge..person couldn't go hungry. The Ukrainian lady at the breakfast was the most helpful and although had a little English, was trying her best to say a few words 🙂, at least a smile. The cleaning ladies were also extremely accommodating of any requests we had. Lovely staff are really helpful with getting any information.Hendrik from Netherlands (9/10)
