DAKOTA Easy Stay Center Overview
I found myself wandering the cobbled lanes of Krzyki after a late lunch at that tiny bistro on Szerokie Street—yes, the one that makes you feel like a local just by sipping their freshly ground coffee. By the time I turned the corner, the sun was already dipping behind the old brick houses, and there it was: the DAKOTA Easy Stay Center, a modest 3‑star spot that, honestly, feels like a well-kept secret. The building itself is a classic Wrocław tenement, painted in soft cream and green, with a little wrought‑iron balcony that offers a perfect view of the street where the locals gather for a quick beer at the end of the day.
Check‑in was surprisingly smooth. The front desk clerk, a jovial woman with a permanent smile, handed me the key card with a quick explanation of the room layout—”The master bedroom has a big window, so if you like morning light, you’re in for a treat.” I appreciated that it was all in Polish, but she also had a handy guide in English, which was a lifesaver. No fuss, no long lines, just a warm welcome and a tiny voucher for a free coffee at the on‑site café. The coffee itself was decent—strong, but with a hint of caramel that made it feel like a real Wrocław specialty. The room was clean, the bed was a solid 5‑star mattress (not the foam you see in other budget hotels), and the bathroom had that crisp, white tile feel that makes you think of a spa. The only little gripe? The shower had a slightly leaky faucet, but no big deal. It was small, you know, the kind of thing that just makes you appreciate the simple comforts of a well‑maintained space.
Parking is a relief if you’re driving. The street right in front of the hotel has free, street‑parking. It’s not a huge lot, but you can find a spot without having to circle the block, which is a huge plus because Wrocław traffic can be a nightmare late at night. Speaking of night, the noise levels are pretty decent—there are a couple of bars on the corner of Piwna Street that keep the hum going until midnight, but the hotel itself is insulated enough that you can hear the soft ticking of the old clock in the lobby, not the clinking of glasses from the bar. The morning, however, brings a pleasant buzz—street vendors selling pierogi, a local radio station playing Polskie Radio, and the distant clatter of a tram on the next block. It’s all part of the real Wrocław experience, and honestly, it feels like you’re right in the middle of the city without being in a tourist trap.
I spent the afternoon exploring the nearby attractions. From the lobby, a quick 10‑minute walk takes you to the bustling market square, where you can grab a fresh apple from the vendor on the corner of Floriańska Street. For a quieter stroll, head down to the riverbank; the chill of the Oder in the evening is a refreshing end to the day. If you’re a foodie, you can’t miss the small trattoria on Szeroka Street—just a block away, but it feels like a hidden gem because they use locally sourced ingredients. And for a quick coffee break, the café on the 3rd floor of the hotel has a small balcony where you can sit and watch the city life unfold below. The seating is comfortable, and the view of the old city hall is a nice backdrop for your Instagram post.
The only thing I would suggest is to book early if you’re traveling during the peak tourist season. The hotel’s fill rate is high, and the staff is friendly, but the room options are limited. Also, if you’re a night owl, be aware that the bar on the 4th floor tends to stay open until 2 a.m., which could rattle the sleep of anyone in the rooms on the lower floors. Otherwise, the DAKOTA Easy Stay Center offers a solid blend of comfort, convenience, and that authentic Wrocław vibe that makes you feel at home. From the moment you step inside, you’ll know you’re in good hands—plus, the staff will probably recommend a good place for pierogi that you’ll never forget. All in all, it’s a place that feels like a friendly neighbor’s home, ready to welcome you back whenever you need a break in this beautiful city.
Wroclaw hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in Poland’s cultural capital, known for its vibrant student life and unique bronze dwarf installations.

Nelly from Ukraine (9/10)
The appartment is very cosy, we felt like home, comfortable bed and sofa. Unlike other appartments I've rented before – we've found a lot of pots, dishes, plates, kitchen ware and devices, salt, sugar, tea, paper towels, tablets for dish-washing and washing mashine, etc. that we've really greatful for, all is good and clean. 10 minutes to railway station, 5 minutes to Bedrenka, nice yard. The hostess is very helpful and pleasant. On my next trip to Wroclav I'd like to book this appartment again.
