Elzbieta Locum / Wroclaw Market Sqr Overview

Elzbieta Locum / Wroclaw Market Sqr, tucked between ul. Odrzanska and the cobblestones of the old town, feels like a hidden gem you stumble upon after a wandering stroll. I remember stepping out of the Wrocław Market Square, the air thick with the scent of fresh pierogi and the distant chatter of street performers, and the hotel’s façade immediately caught my eye—its classic Polish architecture softened by modern touches. The lobby, surprisingly airy, had a mix of vintage wallpaper and a giant, hand‑painted mural of the Old Town Bridge, so you instantly know you’re in the heart of the historic district. Check‑in was smooth; the front desk staff greeted me with a friendly “Dzień dobry” and handed me a key that looked like it belonged in a museum. If you’re arriving late, there’s a small, free parking spot near ul. Odrzanska, but it’s best to arrive before 10 pm to avoid the night shift of delivery vans. The noise level is usually pretty low—just the occasional hum of the metro and the clatter of tourists’ shoes. Honestly, I felt like I was part of the city’s daily rhythm.

The rooms are a blend of cozy and chic, with exposed brick walls that give them character. I stayed in a double, and the bed was a dream—plush linens, a good mix of firm and forgiving pillows. The bathroom, though a tad on the small side, had a surprisingly deep, warm shower that left the tiles steaming. The blackout curtains are heavy, which is a lifesaver when you’re trying to catch up on sleep after a day of sightseeing. The small kitchenette is functional; there’s a coffee maker with a decent grinder and a set of stainless‑steel utensils, perfect for whipping up a quick breakfast before heading to the market. The only real drawback? The Wi‑Fi is a bit hit‑and‑miss—sometimes it drops during peak hours, but I managed to stream a couple of shows before it hiccuped. If you’re a tech‑dependent traveler, you might want to double‑check your connectivity needs.

What really makes the experience special is the ambiance and the little details that locals cherish. The hotel’s courtyard, a hidden oasis of green, is the perfect spot for a mid‑afternoon nap or a quiet cup of coffee from the nearby café on ul. Szewska. The staff are genuinely friendly; one of the receptionists mentioned that the hotel hosts free language exchange evenings on Thursdays—great if you want to practice Polish with fellow travelers. For foodies, the on‑site restaurant serves a breakfast that’s a true reflection of Polish cuisine—home‑made kielbasa, fresh rye bread, and a selection of local cheeses. After lunch, I took a leisurely walk down ul. Targowa, where you’ll find a few art galleries and the famous “Wrocław’s Love Square” with its charming ceramic pigeons. I left the hotel feeling refreshed, a little richer for the stories I’d collected, and already planning my next visit.

Reviews of Elzbieta Locum / Wroclaw Market Sqr

Excellent location, just a block away from the city center square. Centrally located to food marts and restaurants, too. The apartment is spacious for a couple but could easily accommodate another 1-2 guests on the pull out sofa. Place is nicely decorated, very clean, well equipped with all you need and an easy flight of steps (24 steps from entrance to first floor flat) Recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay in this apartment during our visit to Wroclaw. The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a stone's throw away from the stunning Old Town Market Square, making it easy for us to explore all the key sights on foot. Despite being so close to the lively square, the apartment was incredibly quiet and peaceful, allowing us to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing.

The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, providing all the comforts we needed for a perfect stay.

The host Aleksandra was very welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Communications was top class.

We highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Wroclaw, especially those looking for a cozy, convenient, and memorable experience in the heart of the city!

  • Iwona from United Kingdom (10/10)

The location was very convenient, a few steps from the Market Square, on the first floor. It was a bit tricky to enter at first – I didn't realise that I had to stick my hand through the gate to reach the panel.

  • Alexandra from Cyprus (9/10)

Beautiful touches throughout the property- a pleasure to come across the radio for example!
Very comfortable and clean with the best ramen just downstairs.

The aparment is great. It looks just like the pictures, very nicely decorated and fully equipped. There is everything you may need – kitchen equipment, salt, sugar, coffee pods, iron, hair dryer, etc. The location is excellent – just by the Market square, but on a quieter street. Communication with the host was also very easy and efficient.
