There’s a brilliant little bakery called Kawiarnia Literacka right around the corner that does the most incredible rye bread sandwiches – seriously, get there early because they sell out.

What really impressed me was how quiet it stayed throughout the night. I’m a light sleeper, so this matters a lot – no slamming doors or late-night revelry from the street below. The check-in process was smooth, handled through messages with the host who actually responded at reasonable hours (shocking, I know). Parking in that area is tricky though – there’s no dedicated spot, and street parking gets competitive, especially during university terms when students are back in town. But honestly, with everything so walkable, you barely need a car. The 8.7 rating they’ve got isn’t just from people being polite – this place feels like it was designed by someone who’s actually traveled and understands what you need. Not fancy, not trying too hard, just genuinely comfortable and thoughtfully put together.
