GREENY Overview
GREENY sits tucked in the heart of Wrocław’s old town, right on Psie Budy between the 10‑11 block and the old brick‑laden streets that still echo with the clatter of trams. I first stumbled onto the building when I was on a detour from the bustling Market Square, looking for a quiet spot to escape the tourist buzz. The façade is a modest, charming brick that feels like a second home – not flashy, but it exudes that kind of understated Polish coziness that makes you want to linger. The check‑in process was surprisingly smooth; the front desk lady greeted me with a friendly “Dzień dobry” and handed me a key card that looked like a piece of art from a local studio. She even handed me a laminated map of the city with her favorite coffee spots circled – that was the first hint that this place was run by locals who actually love Wrocław.
The apartment itself—room 4 on the second floor—was a clean, airy space that feels like a studio loft. The bed is a generous queen with linens that are soft and breathable; the mattress is firm enough to wake you up with a gentle jolt but not too hard. I noticed the window frames were painted a fresh, minty green, a subtle nod to the hotel’s name and a little aesthetic that made the room feel more alive. The bathroom had a glass shower that let in the city’s morning light, and the tiles were a tasteful mix of grey and white that didn’t feel sterile. I appreciated the small touches like a local artist’s framed photo on the wall and a set of ceramic mugs that were clearly made by a nearby pottery studio. Honestly, the place had a vibe that felt like staying in a friend’s apartment rather than a hotel room.
The location is a gem for anyone who wants to explore on foot. From the lobby, you can step out onto the cobblestones and find yourself within walking distance of the iconic Wrocław Cathedral and the colorful Market Square, but you’re also just a short stroll away from the tranquil Planty Park, a green ring that’s perfect for a midday break. I found that the noise level inside the building is pretty quiet, which is a relief given the city’s lively nightlife. The building’s single elevator is a bit slow, but the stairs are well-lit and the hallway smells faintly of fresh paint—an oddly comforting scent that makes staying there feel safe. Parking is a bit of a hassle; you’ll need to find a street spot or use the public parking lot on the corner of 2nd Street, which is a quick 5‑minute walk and usually has a spot available. I also discovered that the best time to visit is during the shoulder months—late spring or early fall—when the city isn’t swamped with tourists but still buzzes with local life. If you’re a night owl, be aware that the nearby bars on Św. Jana Street can get loud once the sun sets, so the apartment’s windows are a good place to retreat to a quiet night.
I would honestly recommend for travelers who want an authentic slice of Wrocław, a spot that feels like a local’s hideaway rather than a generic boutique hotel. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find a handwritten note on the fridge reminding you to try the pierogi at the café on Łańcuchowa Street, or you’ll hear the faint hum of a tram passing by the window at 3 am. The hotel’s staff are friendly and attentive, offering great tips on where to grab a coffee that isn’t touristy—like the tiny café on Gdańska Street that serves the best flat‑bread. And while the building itself is modest, the attention to detail and the genuine warmth of the staff make it worth every penny. If you’re looking to dive into the everyday rhythm of Wrocław while still having a cozy, clean base, this is the spot that will make you feel at home.
Wroclaw’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with historic charm, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this colorful Polish cultural center.

The best thing about the place was the location, access to the public transport to reach the central station was great and you can even walk there which would take around 17 minutes. The place was very clean and tidy and there is everything needed for your stay for a couple of days. All in all, highly recommend.
