The front desk was a short, breezy walk from the main entrance, and the staff—one of them a local who could speak both Polish and English—was surprisingly friendly. I mean, you almost feel like you’re checking into a friend’s apartment when they hand you the key and point out the best corner coffee shop on Kacperkowa. The check‑in was quick, no long lines, and they gave a handy map of the area that had little pin‑points for the best spots the locals love, like the tiny pierogi stand at 3 PM on Wrocław’s market square (Rynek) and the free herbal tea stand by the riverbank.

The rooms are cozy, a bit like a studio apartment with a double bed, a small desk, and a window that looks out onto the bustling city life. Parking is on the top floor, and while it’s a bit of a climb, you get a great view of the city at sunset. I found a spot and it was actually cheaper than the underground lot right next to the train station. The only downside I noticed was that the elevator sometimes takes a bit longer to reach the top floor, likely because of the building’s age, but the staff were quick to apologize and offered a small coffee as a courtesy. All in all, feels like a no‑frills, honest place that knows how to keep things simple yet comfortable.
