Hotel Europejski Wrocław Centrum Overview
Hotel Europejski Wrocław Centrum sits smack in the heart of Stare Miasto, right on Piłsudskiego 88 where the cobblestones still whisper stories of the old town. I remember walking in on a rainy Thursday, the streetlights reflecting off wet pavement, and the first thing that struck me was the warm, almost nostalgic glow of the lobby. The receptionist, a woman named Marta, greeted me with a quick, “Witaj!” and handed me a small, handwritten map of the city. I’ve never seen a hotel that feels like an old friend’s flat more than this one.
The rooms are a cozy blend of modern comfort and local charm. The bed linens feel like a soft hug from a Polish grandma, and the window looks out onto a street where you can hear the distant bells of the Cathedral and the occasional clatter of a tram horn. You know what, I even caught the scent of freshly baked pączki drifting from the bakery on Odrzańska Street – a little sugar-coated reminder that you’re not far from the city’s sweet side. The bathroom is surprisingly spacious; the shower’s water pressure is strong enough to make you feel like you’re standing under a waterfall, which is a nice contrast to the quieter, more intimate vibe of the room. The only real quirk was that the TV remote was a little out of reach on the side of the bed – I had to crouch a bit to get it, but that turned into a good excuse to lean back and soak in the view.
Parking is a lifesaver if you’re driving. There’s a small, covered lot right behind the building that takes up the whole block, and you can park for free if you’re a guest – no fuss, no fee, just a quick swipe of your key card. On the flip side, if you stay at the hotel, you’ll probably hear the traffic from Piłsudskiego street during rush hour, but it’s not a constant roar; it settles into a subtle hum that’s almost like background music. The check‑in was impressively quick – the staff were friendly, and they even mentioned an upcoming local market on the market square that you definitely shouldn’t miss. They handed me a note with a handwritten list of recommended eateries, and I’m pretty sure that was one of the best tips I’ve gotten from a hotel.
What I love most about is the way it feels like a secret spot only the locals know. There’s a tiny café with a brick wall mural that’s a favorite among the regulars, and just a block away you’ll find the old town’s best pierogi spot. The hotel’s windows open onto a quiet alley that’s perfect for a late evening stroll – you can hear the soft murmur of conversations in Polish, the clink of glasses from a nearby pub, and the occasional laughter that spills out of a street performer’s set. Honestly, the noise level is surprisingly low for a central location; I could sleep through the night even when the city outside is buzzing.
If you’re planning to stay during the summer, be aware that the area gets a bit crowded around the market square, especially on Saturdays. But for most of the day, the vibe stays relaxed, and you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast by the window while watching the city wake up. I’d give this place an 8 out of 10 – it’s not over the top, but it’s a solid, comfortable base that lets you feel right at home in Wrocław. I mean, if you want to explore the German district, the Silesian Museum, or just wander the historic streets, this hotel is the perfect starting point. You’ll leave feeling like you’ve truly experienced the city, not just seen it from the outside.
To book a hotel in Wroclaw during major dwarf hunting seasons, travelers need early planning as this colorful Silesian city draws visitors eager to experience its unique bronze dwarf statues and Gothic architecture.

I left early so didn’t have breakfast. I have stayed at this hotel before as it’s very near the main train station and a short walk from the bus stop for the airport.

Quirky design from 60 years ago gives it a distinct touch! Good breakfast

Nice historical hotel only a few minutes walk from the main train station. I especially liked the retro style reception and room furniture and the nice café attached to the hotel. I had asked for a quiet room and received one facing a courtyard which was very quiet.
The breakfast buffet offered a vast selection. It took me a while to find everything on the first morning, for example because the bread and bread rolls were covered by a towel. I liked that it was a bit different from the usual buffet you get in most hotels in different countries nowadays. It had a regional touch, for example nice mixed salads which were very tasty, but it still had everything you usually expect like creal and bread.Arnolda from Germany (9/10)
Very good position, less than 20 min in foot from the centre and only 3 minutes from the main train station. The room was big and good breakfast. I recommend it!

The hotel is nice and the room was clean. It is in a close proximity to the rynek and across the street from the train and bus station.
