The first thing you notice is the air conditioning—no more sweaty nights after a day of exploring the cobblestones—and the sauna, which is a total game‑changer if you’re traveling with friends or just after a long flight.

Check‑in was a breeze. The front desk guy, Marek, greeted us with a warm smile and a quick rundown of the check‑in process—no long lines, because they’ve moved most of the paperwork online. He handed us a keycard that works for the underground garage, so you’re covered even if you’re staying for a weekend or a month. Parking is a huge plus here; the garage is right next to the building, so you’re never more than a minute away from your car, which is rare in this part of the Old Town. The entrance is discreet, so you don’t have to wade through crowds of tourists looking for parking.

The apartment itself is a tidy mix of modern décor and classic Polish touches. I mean, the wooden floorboards, the soft linen sheets—feel like you’re in a boutique hotel, but it’s actually a private space. The kitchen is fully equipped, though if you’re new to Wrocław, you might want to stop by the market on Rynek to pick up some local cheese or a bottle of wine. Speaking of the market, the noise levels are pretty reasonable. In the evenings, you can hear the distant chatter of people enjoying the street performers or the clinking of glasses from a nearby café, but the building’s windows are sound‑proof enough that you still get a solid night’s sleep. The only thing that might bother you if you’re a light sleeper is the occasional rush of traffic from the river promenade, but that’s usually after midnight.

One of my favorite spots is the café on the corner of Książęce, right across from the hotel. They serve the best espresso in the city, and the barista knows your name by the second day. I spent a morning there, sipping a latte while watching the sunrise over the Oder—an experience you just can’t miss. If you’re into history, you’re in luck: the Town Hall and the Cathedral are just a short stroll away, and the Hala Stulecia is only a few blocks up the hill. During the summer, the Old Town comes alive with open‑air markets and street food stalls, so you’ll get a real taste of local life; in the winter, it’s quieter and more intimate, with the lights from the riverbank reflecting off the snow.

Honestly, the sauna was the highlight for me. After a long day of exploring the museums and the Piwnice (the old cellars), I was soaking in the steam while listening to the soft hum of the city outside. It’s a small luxury, but it makes a world of difference. The only little critique I have—just a tiny thing—is that the Wi‑Fi password is sometimes hard to find on the keycard, so it’s worth double‑checking with the front desk. But other than that, everything was spot on. We received very detailed and helpful instructions for access to the place and also useful tourist information from the apartment owner. The parking lot is underground, clean and easy to access.
