The owner – this really friendly guy named Marek – met me for check-in and actually took the time to show me around the neighborhood, pointing out the best bakery (Chleb i Wino, seriously, go there for breakfast) and explaining which tram lines to avoid during rush hour.

The bedroom faces the courtyard, so it’s remarkably quiet despite being close to Fabryczna Street, which does get some traffic but nothing crazy. I slept better there than I have in months. The only tiny thing – and I’m really splitting hairs here – is that the parking situation can be tricky if you’re driving, but honestly, once you’re settled in this place, you won’t want to leave.
