The mattress was one of those memory foam ones that you either love or hate – I happened to love it. Parking’s available but limited, so if you’re driving, book it in advance. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – no waiting around, just a friendly local guy who actually knew the neighborhood and gave me proper recommendations for dinner spots instead of just handing me a generic tourist map.

There’s a brilliant little bakery called Piekarnia Kawiarnia two blocks down that serves the most incredible sourdough – seriously, don’t skip it. The area gets a bit lively in the evenings, nothing crazy, but you’ll hear some street noise if you’re a light sleeper. I actually liked it though; it felt alive rather than dead after dark. The staff mentioned that summer gets pretty busy with business travelers, but when I was there in late spring, it was perfectly quiet. The shower pressure was fantastic, which sounds minor but makes such a difference after a long day of walking around – and trust me, you’ll be doing a lot of walking in Wrocław. The whole vibe here is just… unpretentious. No fancy lobby or concierge service, but you get clean, comfortable accommodation in a spot where you can actually feel like you’re experiencing the city rather than just visiting it. I’d definitely stay here again, and honestly, I’m already recommending it to friends who ask about Wrocław.
