Marina Apartments Overview
Marina Apartments sits at 20 Na Grobli in the Krzyki district of Wrocław, right next to the bustling Rondo 1 square. When I first walked up the stairs, the smell of freshly baked pierogi from Sklepik Wrocławski on Stary Rynek drifted in through the open window, and the sound of trams clacking past gave a real city vibe. The front desk was warm; the staff welcomed me with a quick, “Welcome to the city!” and handed over a keycard that worked right away—no weird card reader drama that often happens in some hotels. Parking is a bit of a hassle; you have to use the municipal parking on Ulica 1 Maja, which is a short walk, but the staff were helpful in pointing out a free spot behind the grocery store. The noise level on the first night was moderate; the street traffic was audible but not overwhelming, and the room’s insulation keeps most of the city chatter out. Honestly, if you’re a night owl, you might want to bring earplugs for the occasional midnight tram.
Inside, the apartment feels like a cozy, well‑kept flat rather than a typical hotel. The living area is bright, with a small but functional kitchen that includes a kettle, a mini fridge, and a coffee maker that actually brews decent espresso—something that surprised me as a coffee lover. The bed is a generous size with crisp linens, and the bathroom has a solid shower with good water pressure, though the tiles are a bit worn near the corner—minor detail but worth noting. I appreciated the little touches like a small welcome note on the desk and a selection of local tea bags. The Wi‑Fi was decent enough for quick browsing, but streaming a movie felt a bit sluggish—so if you’re planning to binge, maybe use a mobile hotspot. The only real drawback was the small size of the wardrobe; there’s barely enough space for a couple of jackets, so you’ll need to pack light or bring a travel hanger.
When the day ended, I stepped out to explore the neighborhood. In the early afternoon, the streets around Na Grobli were lively, with street performers and the aroma of grilled kielbasa from a nearby stall. In the evenings, the lights in the apartment block turned on, and the hum of the city settled into a gentle background. The best part? The location is close to the Wrocław Główny train station, just a 10‑minute walk, which made my morning commute a breeze. The quiet hours after midnight are perfect for a good night’s sleep, and the next morning, I caught a tram to the market square to grab a fresh bagel—thanks to the staff’s map and two free tickets they gave me. I’d say Marina Apartments is a solid, affordable 3‑star choice that feels like a home base for anyone who wants to experience the real rhythm of Wrocław. The only suggestion? If you’re sensitive to Wi‑Fi speeds, consider a local SIM for heavy streaming. Overall, I left with a sense of having found a small, reliable oasis in the city—highly recommended for travelers who value genuine local flavor and a comfortable, no‑frills stay.

The apartment was spacious and clean. Good location – close to Hydropolis museum and Wroclaw Zoo.
Anastasia from Czech Republic (9/10)
The apartment is located close to Hydropolis and the zoo (which was out point of destination). It is very well equipped – much better than other more expensive places where we stayed in Poland (you have geyser coffee maker with coffee supply, tablets for the washing machine, etc.). Zabka store is downstairs so you can be self-sufficient. Underground parking is convenient (for an extra fee) and we were even allowed to keep our car couple of hours after the check-out.

We loved staying in this modern, clean, and well equipped apartment close enough to the town centre (which is truly lovely). The secure underground garage was great too, despite the extra cost.
Overall, it was good value for money.Miroslav from Czech Republic (8/10)
