Mieszkanie Na Placu Solnym Overview
Mieszkanie Na Placu Solnym sits right on Plac Solny, 6/7 m.10, just a stone’s throw from the glittering Wrocław Cathedral and the bustling market square. If you’re strolling down Jagiellońska and hit the corner of Plac Solny, you’ll see it – a neat, three‑star building that feels more like a cozy apartment block than a hotel. I remember the first time I walked up the steps, the scent of fresh bread from the nearby bakery drifting in, and the gentle hum of the tram line that’s always a little louder on weekday mornings. The staff greet you with smiles that feel earned, not scripted, and they’ll point out that the best coffee shop in town, Kawiarnia 10, is just a block away. Check‑in is surprisingly quick – no long lines, just a friendly “Dzień dobry” and your keycard. They even give you a small map with the best spots, which is handy if you’re new to the city.
Now, about the rooms. They’re not shabby; they’re clean, with a slightly rustic touch that fits the old‑world vibe of Stare Miasto. The beds are plush enough that I fell asleep halfway through a conversation about the Vistula River. The only thing that could be better is the Wi‑Fi – it’s fine for checking emails, but if you’re streaming Netflix, you might notice a hiccup or two. The bathroom is a bit cramped, but it’s bright and has a nice, neutral color scheme that doesn’t feel sterile. A nice touch is the small shelf with a few polish-language books and a local guidebook that I found useful. The windows look out onto the cobblestone streets, so you get that authentic city soundtrack: the clatter of scooters, the murmur of people chatting in Polish, and occasionally a street musician playing a violin. Soundproofing is decent; the night is usually calm, though if you’re staying in the top floor, you might catch the occasional low rumble of the tram below.
Parking is a bit of a hassle – there’s no dedicated parking for guests, so you’ll have to rely on street parking around Plac Solny. In the evenings, you can usually snag a spot, but during the tourist rush in July and August, you might have to walk a block to find one. The hotel does offer a small storage spot for bicycles if you’re renting one – they’re actually quite handy. I’d say the noise level is moderate – the market square can get lively after dark, but the rooms are insulated enough that you don’t feel the full intensity of the street. If you’re a light sleeper or prefer a quieter spot, the lower floors are better. I also picked up that the hotel’s kitchen, which they say is “mini‑café style”, serves a decent breakfast – think fresh rolls, local cheese, and a strong espresso that’s worth the price. The real charm, though, is the friendly staff who make you feel like you’re staying with a friend rather than a typical tourist accommodation. They’ll even recommend a hidden gem – a small, family‑run pierogi place on Bracia Książęscy Street that’s just a 10‑minute walk away. All in all, gives you that authentic Wrocław vibe, with practical touches that actually matter when you’re traveling.

A fantastic top floor flat right in the city center. Despite being so close to restaurants, shops, pubs etc it's surprisingly quiet. Comfortable, tastefully decorated and cosy place for short or long stays. I won't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who enjoys Wrocław city centre and requires a stay close to it – you couldn't get any closer. We will be back!

Location was great just off the main square. Kombinat bar below is great and best price for drinks. Jolie cafe directly below the apartment and the food is lovely. Nice bathroom with washing machine. Kitchen dining area and separate bedroom for a nice visit.
