Młyn Wrocław 10/8 Overview
Młyn Wrocław 10/8 sits in the quiet suburb of Psie Pole, a short tram ride from the Old Town but far enough away that you can actually hear the wind rustling through the trees instead of the constant hum of city traffic. When I first walked up to the building, the industrial-chic façade – exposed brick, wooden beams, and a splash of fresh paint – gave me that instant “this place is cool” feeling. I mean, you can’t miss it, but it’s also tucked between Młynarska and Słoneczna streets, so you’re not staring at a billboard for a year-round 24‑hour gym.
The check‑in was a bit of a story. The front desk was friendly, but there was a tiny glitch with the keycard system – the staff had to pull the card from the machine, re‑flash it, and then hand it to me. It took about ten minutes, which is a lot when you’re excited to get into bed after a hectic train journey. They apologized and offered a complimentary coffee from the little café on Młynarska (Café Młyn), which I’ll admit was the highlight of the wait – the foam art on the latte was worth the extra time. Once the key was in hand, the room was a surprisingly cozy, if not a bit cramped, space. The bed was solid, though the mattress felt a bit firm – maybe a personal preference thing. The bathroom is small but functional, featuring a shower with a decent water pressure; no bathtub, though. The linens were good, but the towels were a touch thinner than I’d like, so I’d probably bring an extra towel for those warm nights.
Now, the real charm is in the details. The hotel’s location is a sweet spot for exploring Wrocław without the usual tourist crowds. From the lobby, you can hop on the tram at Młynarska and ride just a few stops to the Old Town – the cathedral, the Market Square, the colorful facades of the Town Hall – all in under fifteen minutes. If you’re looking to wander a bit further, the Silesian Museum is a quick bus ride away, and the Wrocław Zoo sits just a couple of tram stops down the line. For a more laid‑back vibe, there’s a small park, the Park of the City, nearby, where locals gather for weekend picnics and you can enjoy the smell of freshly cut grass and the distant hum of street traffic that somehow feels less intrusive here.
I love the little touches that show the hotel is truly local. The wallpaper in the hallway is a mural of the Wrocław river, and the lobby’s small kitchen area has a kettle that whines when you’re brewing tea – the sound is oddly comforting. The Wi‑Fi is fast, but I did notice a slight lag when streaming a video on the TV; the channel selection is limited, but there’s a decent selection of Polish shows and a few international ones. The staff, while generally warm, sometimes struggled with English – I think it’s a 3‑star place after all, so it’s not all perfect, but their enthusiasm made up for it. Parking is an issue – the on‑site lot is tiny, and most guests end up using street parking, which can be a hassle during the summer rush. But the hotel does offer a small paid parking space a few blocks away, which is a lifesaver if you’re carrying a lot of luggage.
In short, is a solid, comfortable base for a Wrocław adventure. The location is spot on for both sightseeing and a quiet night away from the city’s pulse. The hotel’s industrial vibe, combined with friendly staff and a decent breakfast that features local pastries, makes for an authentic stay. It’s not a luxury haven, but it’s a place where you can actually feel the city’s heartbeat, hear the distant chatter of the market, and wind down in a room that’s more “home” than hotel. If you’re looking for a place that’s a bit off the beaten path yet still close to the action, this spot will do the trick – just bring an extra towel
Exploring Wroclaw offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Poland’s cultural gem, from its magnificent Gothic architecture to its whimsical bronze dwarfs and vibrant student atmosphere.

Opravdu velmi příjemné a vyjímečné.Agnieszka from United Kingdom (10/10)
