So I ended up staying at NeoApartments – Rynek Pod Gryfami last month, and honestly, it was one of those finds that feels a bit too good to be true. Right in the heart of Wrocław’s Old Town, literally on Rynek square – you can’t get more central than this. The apartment was on the first floor, which sounds perfect until you realize that means you’re basically at street level with all the foot traffic noise. But here’s the thing – Wrocław’s nightlife is pretty lively, especially around weekends, so if you’re planning to hit the bars and restaurants that line Kazimierza Wielkiego and Świdnicka streets, you’ll probably be out late anyway.

The place itself is clean and modern, which I appreciated after a long day of wandering. I mean, the photos online don’t lie – the kitchenette is compact but functional, and there’s something satisfying about making your own coffee in the morning while looking out over the market square. The beds are comfortable enough, though the mattress felt a bit firm for my taste. You know what surprised me? The shower pressure was actually really good – not something you can take for granted in older European buildings. Check-in was smooth, the staff spoke decent English, and they were helpful with recommendations for places to eat that weren’t overrun with tourists.

Location-wise, NeoApartments – Rynek Pod Gryfami can’t be beat. Within five minutes you’re at the famous Dwarf Statues that people hunt for around the city – there’s actually one right near the Town Hall that most visitors miss because it’s partially hidden by a planter. The walking distance to the Wrocław University Library is perfect for an afternoon break, and if you’re into coffee, there’s this little place called Coffee Street just off the main square that serves the best flat white I had in Poland. Parking was a bit of a headache though – the nearest garage is under the Galeria Dominikańska, and it fills up fast during market days. But honestly, once you’re in the Rynek Pod Gryfami area, you don’t really need a car. The whole vibe of staying there made me feel like I was actually living in Wrocław for a few days, not just passing through as a tourist.
