Novotel Wrocław Centrum Overview
Novotel Wrocław Centrum sits on Powstańcow Śląskich, just off the bustling Słodowa corridor, and honestly, it feels like a comfortable bridge between the old city’s cobblestones and the modern pulse of the Krzyki district. I remember my first night there, the lobby’s warm lighting catching the reflection of a quiet street outside, where the faint hum of a tram—tram 7, no less—crept through. The staff at the front desk were friendly, but there were a few of us who had to wait a couple of minutes before the key was handed over because the check‑in desk was buzzing with locals heading to a weekend market on Krakowska Street. Still, the receptionist offered a quick tour of the room’s amenities, and the quick swap from a regular to a double with the extra was a lifesaver for my friend who had a last‑minute camping trip in the Białe Piękno area.
Walking out, the smell of fresh pastries from a nearby bakery—”Cukiernia Słodowa”—mixed with the distant scent of roasted coffee from a small kiosk on Piłsudskiego, and you instantly know you’re in Wrocław. The building’s façade is a tasteful blend of glass and brick, and the parking situation is actually decent for the city: a paid underground lot right next to the hotel, plus a few free street spots if you’re okay with a quick dash to the curb. The noise at night is surprisingly low, thanks to the building’s solid construction, though you can still hear the occasional clink of glasses from a bar on the fourth floor. I found the Wi‑Fi a bit sluggish during rush hours, but the hotel’s internal network was smooth enough for streaming a Polish drama on the sofa.
The breakfast buffet is one of the best things here. I mean, the spread is practical but still feels indulgent: a selection of local cheeses, a few freshly baked rye breads, and the highlight—a hearty pierogi station with both the traditional potato‑cheese and a quirky mushroom‑spinach option. The staff really knows how to create a local vibe: they keep the station open until 10 a.m., giving you time to sip your coffee and plan a stroll to the Wrocław Old Town, which is just a 15‑minute walk, or hop on tram 3 at the corner of Powstańcow Śląskich and Krakowska for a quick ride to the Cathedral. The hotel’s rooms are spacious, with a subtle, contemporary décor that’s not over‑the‑top but still feels like a home away from home. The bath is surprisingly large, with a steam option that’s perfect after a day walking around the “Rynek” or the nearby Hala Stulecia, which is a must-visit if you’re into history and architecture.
Overall, Novotel Wrocław Centrum feels like a well‑placed hub for anyone who wants to explore the city’s highlights without sacrificing comfort. If you’re planning a longer stay, the hotel offers a decent loyalty program, and the staff are always ready to recommend hidden gems, like the small art gallery on Słodowa or the cozy coffee shop on Piłsudskiego. The only real drawback is the occasional front‑desk crowd during peak season, but the staff handle it with patience and a smile. So, whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or a small group, this place offers a solid, authentic base that’s honestly worth a stay.
To book hotel in Wroclaw during the famous Wroclaw European Capital of Culture celebrations, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts cultural enthusiasts and architecture lovers from around the world.

Breakfast was outstanding. We travel quiet often and selection of the dishes was one of the best i have ever seen. Staff were always friendly and helpful and room was clean and the bathroom was equipped with the all necessary items. Location was very good, only short walking distance to the center. We stayed there during the Christmas time and there was very nice atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay , thank you so much <3

Very close to the main train station. Modern, well maintained decor. A good breakfast buffet, well attended by hotel guests. Lots of table space for eating. Helpful staff found a room available for early occupancy. Automatic checkout in the morning made an early departure by train quick and easy.

The hotel is in the good location, you have local shops very close to hotel, public transport as well. We love kids entertainment and soft play for them. The hotel is modern and clean, staff was polite and helpful. Room was OK,with coffee machine and little fridge and safe box. They even gave us ear plugs just in case outside was too noisy.
