The apartment itself is on the third floor, and I’ll be honest, I was a bit worried about the stairs with my suitcase, but there’s actually a lift that works perfectly fine. The whole vibe is modern but not trying too hard – think clean lines, good lighting, and those little touches that show someone actually thought about comfort. There’s this huge window that looks out over the street, and in the morning you can hear the bakery downstairs starting up, which sounds way better than any alarm clock. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, especially compared to central Wrocław where everything gets loud after midnight. You’ve got this great little park, Park Krzyki, just a five-minute walk away where you can grab coffee at Kawiarnia pod Kaskadą – it’s become sort of my go-to spot for afternoon breaks.

What really sold me on Oaza Borek was how it felt like a real apartment rather than some sterile hotel room. The kitchen actually has decent cookware, so I made dinner a couple nights instead of eating out, and there’s a supermarket literally two blocks down that locals use. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which isn’t something you can say about most places in Wrocław – there’s a spot right near the building that’s included in the price. Check-in was smooth, the host left clear instructions, and they even recommended this amazing pierogi place on Gajowa that most tourists would never find. The only tiny thing is that the shower water pressure could be better, but honestly, that’s such a small detail in the grand scheme of things. During my stay, the 8.9 rating totally made sense – it’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back and stay longer than you originally planned.
