Old Town Haston Overview

Old Town Haston sits right on plac Nankiera 1, smack in the heart of Stare Miasto, so you can practically feel the history under your feet. When I first stepped into the lobby—honestly, the moment you cross that threshold you know you’re in a place that’s lived through a lot—I was greeted by a receptionist who seemed to have a secret recipe for making every guest feel like a local. She handed me a key that looked like it belonged in a museum, but she still managed to explain the parking situation with a smile. Street parking is available right outside, but you’ll want to bring a small bag because the spots are tight. There’s a paid garage a block away if you want to keep your car out of the rain or the occasional night‑time traffic jam. I’ve found the check‑in line is usually short, but on a Sunday morning the line can stretch past the front desk, so arriving early helps.

The rooms are a mix of modern touches and old‑world charm. I stayed in a double that had a view of the cobblestones, which was great for the late‑night city sounds—honestly, the distant clatter of a tram and the muffled chatter of a café across the street can be surprisingly calming. The bed was like that one that you forget you slept on until you get up. The bathroom had a decent shower; the water pressure was a bit low, but the tiles were clean and the shower curtain had that faint scent of lemon soap that reminds you of a Polish laundromat. I did have to deal with a Wi‑Fi login page that kept asking me to confirm my email, which was a bit annoying if you’re trying to upload a photo in real time. Breakfast was decent but not a highlight—think continental pastries and a limited coffee selection. It’s the kind of place that will make you feel like you’re staying in a neighbor’s apartment rather than a hotel, which is a win in my book.

When you’re ready to step outside, you’re literally on a stone that’s been walked on by centuries of people. The Old Town Market Square is just a two‑minute stroll, and if you’re hungry you can jump into one of the tiny trattorias that line the cobbles—there’s a place called “Pierogarnia” where the pierogies are almost too good to be true. For a quieter time, the nearby Ołbin Park is a short tram ride away and is perfect for a midday jog or a relaxed picnic. I’d say the only real downside is the noise at night; it’s a bustling city, so if you’re a light sleeper you might want a blackout curtain. But honestly, that’s part of the charm. The staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable, and the whole vibe feels like a living, breathing slice of Wrocław. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a second home in the city, is a solid pick. It’s not a boutique hotel, but it’s the kind of spot that makes you want to recommend it to your friends without sounding like a marketer. The experience is genuine, the details matter, and you’ll leave with a sense of having truly lived in the city, not just visited it.

So close to the old town and very modern with a spacious ensuite and super comfy bed. We loved the selection of foods at breakfast and that you could eat up to 11am. The staff are really helpful and pleasant too. I'd definitely stay here again due to it's location, service and facilities. Really good value.

The hotel was very well located in the old town. A lot of culture, cafes, restaurants within walking distance and you can also easily get further by tram. The hotel was clean and quiet. My room was very spacious with a bathtub and a large terrace. The staff was knowledgeable and the customer encounter and service individual.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as it was so close to the city centre. Lovely large room and bathroom, very clean and a very quiet hotel.
