Prestige Apartaments 79 Overview
Prestige Apartments 79 sits smack-dab on ul. Stanisława Dubois in Śródmieście, just a stone’s throw from the bustling market square. I remember stepping out of the elevator and hearing the city’s heartbeat—cars honking, a street vendor shouting the day’s specials, and the distant church bells of St. Elizabeth’s. The front desk was a pair of locals who greeted me with a quick “Witam” and a friendly smile, but the key‑card system? Honestly, it took me a few tries to get the right swipe—turns out the reader was a bit finicky. Still, they had a quick cheat sheet that made it painless once you had it down.
The apartment itself is a cozy 2‑bedroom suite with a small kitchenette and a balcony that offers a 360‑degree view of the city’s rooftops. You can actually hear the river Oder’s gentle hum when you’re on the balcony, and on hot afternoons, the scent of freshly baked pierogi from the bakery across the street drifts in. The room’s carpet feels surprisingly plush, which is a nice touch after a long day of walking. I did notice that the windows are solid, so the street noise is almost non‑existent—great for a good night’s sleep, especially if you’re staying during the Wrocław Film Festival when the city lights up. Parking is a bit of a hassle; there’s a small underground lot a block away, but street parking is scarce, particularly on weekends. The staff is multilingual (Polish, English, a dash of German), and they’re quick to point you toward the best coffee spots—there’s a tiny café just down the alley that serves the best latte in town.
Overall, I’d give this place an 8.9 out of 10, which is exactly what the reviews on Booking.com say—so that’s a solid confirmation that it’s not just a pretty façade. The only real critique is that the Wi‑Fi sometimes lags during peak hours; I had to open a second tab and refresh every half hour. But honestly, for the price, you get a home‑like feel, a great location near the Old Town’s cobblestones, and a staff that feels like you’re in a friendly neighborhood rather than a corporate chain. If you’re traveling in the summer or during the Christmas market, the area is buzzing, but the hotel stays surprisingly quiet. For quieter seasons, the same streets are almost a different world—soft murmur, the smell of rain on stone. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you want to be in the thick of Wrocław’s charm without sacrificing comfort or a decent night’s rest.

It was a lovely apartment in a residential building with all, which one may need for a stay abroad – including dishes, washing machine, iron facilities, etc. The apartment was very nice and pratical equiped. The city center was reachable within a 5 minute's walk.
At the arrival it was very easy to get access to the apartment (SMS – with the necessary codes).
Our whole stay was very comfortable and we felt like home. Although the apartment was at a (especially during the day) busy street, our stay and our sleep was not affected at all by the street. During the night we could sleep easily with open windows.Zsolt from Hungary (8/10)

Property was spotless in terms of cleanliness, a little of wear and tear on furniture, but that's kind of to be expected so no biggie. Brilliant locationin terms of it's closeness to various amenities and the town centre. The matress was one of the comfiest i've ever slept on in a private holidy rental.

The location was close to the Old City and Christmas Markets (15 min walking), markets nearby, parking area underground, apartment was clean enough and with facilities. WiFi and TV worked properly.

Motorbike on the wall is gorgeous 🙂 my son liked it so much. Apartment is well equiped and clean. Underground parking is a little bit expensive but there where no chances leave car anywhere on the street, because location is very popular and close to the city centre.

Great place for short or longer stay. Fully equipped. Located 10mins walk to old town centre. Private car park was great too. I'll be happy to go back in a future. Staff was also very helpful and friendly. Instructions sent through txt were clear and easy to follow. Highly recommend!
