The apartment itself is… well, it’s exactly what you want when you’re traveling but don’t want to feel like you’re staying in a hotel. There’s something really nice about having three proper rooms in 90 square meters – you don’t feel cramped, and there’s actual separation between sleeping, living, and kitchen areas. The kitchen had everything I needed, even though I ended up eating out most nights because there are so many great spots nearby. You’ve got Demeteria & Klein literally two doors down for breakfast – their pastries are incredible – and within a three-minute walk, you’re at Włodarczyków 23 for some of the best Polish food I’ve had. The noise level was actually better than I expected; yes, you’re on a main square, but the windows block out most of the evening chatter, and by 10 PM, things get surprisingly quiet. Though I should mention, if you’re staying in the front room, you might want the blackout curtains – there’s some early morning light that streams in.

What really impressed me was how smooth the whole experience was. Check-in was at the main office on the same street, and the staff knew exactly what they were doing – no standing around wondering who you are or where your room is. They even gave me a heads-up about construction on Szewska Street that was affecting the usual walking routes to the university area. Parking was… well, it’s Wrocław, so don’t expect to find a spot right outside, but there’s a secured garage about a four-minute walk away that’s worth the few zlotys. I’d say this place is perfect for couples or small families who want that home-away-from-home feel but with the bonus of being able to walk everywhere. The 9.3 rating? It’s legit. I mean, the only thing I’d mention is that the shower pressure could be a bit stronger, but seriously, that’s my only complaint about the whole stay.
