Q17 Apartments Overview
Q17 Apartments is tucked into the charming backstreets of Stare Miasto, just a stone’s throw from the bustling Market Square. I walked up the cobbled path from the square, passing the old town hall and the bell tower that’s been ringing since the 14th century—there’s a certain romance to walking that way. The building itself is a quiet, 3‑star gem with a solid 8.8 rating on the sites I trust. When I arrived, the front desk was surprisingly friendly, and the check‑in process was almost instant thanks to a digital key system that let me skip the long line that usually snakes up the stairs of the older hotels in the area. I mean, who’d expect a place in such a historic neighborhood to be tech‑savvy, right?
Inside, the apartment is a cozy, well‑planned space that feels more like a home than a hotel. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a kettle that whistles when the water boils and a stainless‑steel stove that actually heats up quickly—no more waiting around for hot water like some places you’ve been. The sofa is soft, the mattress surprisingly comfortable for a 3‑star spot, and the bathroom has that fresh, almost citrusy scent from the cleaning products I’m sure you’ll notice. There’s a little balcony that opens onto the narrow lane, so the city’s hum is just a gentle murmur. I did notice a faint smell of woodsmoke from the neighboring bakery, but honestly, it added to the city vibe rather than being a distraction.
When it comes to practical stuff, parking is a bit of a mixed bag. There’s no dedicated garage, so you’ll need to rely on street parking, which can be a bit of a grind during the summer months when tourists flock to the river promenade. I parked on the corner of Kuźnicza and Szewska, and the meter was pretty reasonable. Noise-wise, the apartment’s location is a sweet spot: close enough to hear the occasional street performers and the distant chatter from the café on the square, but far enough from the main avenues to keep the night quiet. I woke up to the soft clink of glass from the neighboring pierogi place—yes, that’s the famous “Pierogarnia Stare Miasto”—and the scent of freshly boiled dumplings drifted through the hallway, a delicious reminder of the culinary culture here.
The real charm of staying at is how it opens up the day. On a sunny morning, you can step out onto Kuźnicza, grab a coffee from the little shop on the corner (they have a fantastic flat‑white with a hint of cardamom), and then head to the Silesian Museum just a block away. In the afternoon, you can stroll along the Oder River, watch the boats glide by, and then pop into the old town’s underground tunnel for a quick photo op. Even in the quieter evenings, the local bars are just a few steps away, and the streetlights give the cobbles a warm glow that feels almost cinematic. If you’re visiting in the high season, I’d suggest getting there early for the best parking, and if you’re a night owl, you’ll love the way the city lights flicker over the cathedral’s spires. All in all, it’s a place that feels lived in, not over‑touristed, and it’s got that perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and that unmistakable Wrocław vibe.

Yulia from Poland (8/10)
good location and equipment in the apartment. Tea and coffee. and also there was sugar and salt. In the refrigerator there was a bottle of water waiting for us. the room was clean. for each guest there were 2 towels. even used the TV, many channels and good quality. the internet is also excellent. there is an elevator in the house. nearby all the necessary shops and cafes. soft mattress and warm blanket. thick curtains that block the sunlight. in the room there was also a hair dryer. everything necessary was there. a large closet for storing things. I really liked that you have code locks everywhere: it's very convenient, you don't need to carry key cards with you everywhere, and you don't need to be afraid of losing something, and you don't need to pay a deposit for this crap. sometimes it's even 50 euros. just crazy 🙏🔥 thank you
