RentPlanet – Apartament Sky Tower Overview
So I ended up staying at RentPlanet – Apartament Sky Tower last month when I was in Wrocław for a friend’s wedding, and honestly, it was one of those finds that kind of surprises you. You know how sometimes you book something online and it’s totally different in person? Well, this was actually better than the photos. The apartment’s on Powstańców Śląskich, which sounds intimidating but it’s really just a regular street – though I will say, if you’re coming from the train station, don’t try to walk it in the rain like I did because it’s further than you think. The building itself is modern, all glass and steel, and when you step off the elevator on the 15th floor, there’s this moment where you realize you’ve got this incredible view of the city stretching out below you. I mean, the “Sky Tower” part isn’t just marketing nonsense – you’re literally looking down at the Ostrow Tumski cathedral spires.
The place feels lived-in but clean, which I actually appreciated. There’s something about that new-apartment smell mixed with just a hint of coffee that made it feel more like staying at a friend’s place than some sterile rental. The kitchen’s fully stocked, which saved me from eating out every meal – though there’s a decent little café called Kawiarnia Literacka just downstairs that serves surprisingly good pastries. The bed was comfortable enough, though the windows do let in a bit more street noise than I expected, especially since it faces the main road. Nothing crazy, but if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs. The neighborhood’s actually pretty great though – it’s quiet enough that you can hear yourself think, but there’s enough going on that you’re never bored. There’s this little park about two blocks away where locals walk their dogs in the mornings, and I spotted a farmers market there on Saturday that had the most amazing pickles.
What really sold me on RentPlanet – Apartament Sky Tower was how easy everything was. Check-in was smooth – they sent the code via text an hour before I arrived – and there’s underground parking if you’re driving, which honestly isn’t something you find everywhere in this part of the city. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly for video calls with my sister back home, and the shower pressure was actually pretty decent, which sounds small but makes a difference when you’re traveling. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Wrocław, especially since it’s just a quick tram ride from the market square where all the action happens. Though fair warning – summer gets busy and the elevators can be slow in the mornings when everyone’s heading out. But hey, that view from your window while you’re waiting for your coffee to brew? Totally worth it.
