RentPlanet – Apartamenty Centrum Overview
I remember the first time I walked into RentPlanet – Apartamenty Centrum like it was yesterday. The lobby was this unexpectedly cozy blend of old brick and fresh paint, almost like a modern café that got a little too serious with its décor. The staff greeted me with a warm, “Witamy!”—they were friendly, but you could tell they were used to a steady stream of tourists and locals alike, so their smiles were genuine, not rehearsed. Check‑in was quick; a digital kiosk let me skip the long queue that usually forms near the front desk, and the front desk man—Polish, obviously, and with a quick, “Everything ready?”—handed me a keycard with a smile. I felt like I had slipped into a friendly neighborhood rather than a corporate hotel.
The place is tucked into Gwarna Street 12, right in the heart of Stare Miasto. You know, that part of Wrocław that feels like a living postcard? If you step outside, the cobblestones crunch under your feet and the scent of fresh coffee from the corner café (Kawa na Wysocie, I swear—it’s the best latte in town) mingles with the faint perfume of blooming azaleas from the nearby Oławski Park. I’m telling you, the noise level is pretty decent; the street is busy, but the building’s walls are thick enough that you don’t hear every honk or chatter. The only thing that can get a bit loud is the evening chatter in the courtyard when the locals go out for a drink—it’s lively, but you can still hear yourself think. Parking is a bit of a hunt, honestly. There’s a small lot behind the building that’s usually full, but if you’re willing to walk a block, there’s a street parking spot on Kacjusza Street; it’s free but you’ll need to be careful with the curbs. I left my bike there once and a couple of times it got a little wedged in the gravel—so, maybe bring a lock just in case.
The rooms themselves are clean, bright, and practical—no frills, just what you need. I stayed in a two‑bedroom suite, and the layout was surprisingly efficient. The living area had a comfy sofa that actually sagged just a bit when I sat on it, but that’s the real thing, you know? The kitchenette was surprisingly well stocked: a kettle, a coffee maker, a set of good knives, and even a bottle of local sparkling water. I didn’t have to go to the supermarket for a latte, which is a big win. The bathroom had a rain shower that felt like a mini spa session, though the water temperature sometimes fluctuated a tad—maybe the pipes are old. I did notice a faint scent of detergent in the hallway that lingered for a while after the housekeeping crew did their rounds, but it was subtle enough that it didn’t ruin the experience.
Honestly, the overall vibe is very approachable. The staff is friendly but not overly chatty, so you feel at ease without feeling like you’re intruding. I appreciated the small touches, like a local map on the wall that highlighted the best spots for a quick bite—like the pierogies at the market square or the pierogi at the bakery on 12th Street. The only real critique is that the Wi‑Fi signal can be spotty in the upper floors, so if you’re a digital nomad, you might want to plan your work around the coffee shop downstairs. But for a weekend getaway or a short stay, RentPlanet – Apartamenty Centrum offers a solid, comfortable base that feels like you’re part of the neighborhood rather than just staying in a hotel. If you’re looking for a place that’s practical, not flashy, and tucked right into the pulse of Wrocław’s historic center, this is the spot that’ll make you feel right at home.
Best hotels in Wroclaw range from charming boutique properties in the historic Market Square to elegant island hotels with stunning views of the Oder River and Cathedral Island.

Property was clean, size of room absolutely normally, quiet street, close of central bus station and old town of Wroclaw, approximately 10-12 minutes walk. Good location, Shops were close to the hotel.
I have never had the experience of staying in such a hotel before, where there was no one at the reception and you check in online, you get a code and you open the hotel door and the room door yourself. At first it was a little uncomfortable, I thought I was in a horror movie, but we got used to it.John-paul from United Kingdom (9/10)
