RentPlanet – Apartamenty Jagiełły Overview
RentPlanet – Apartamenty Jagiełły sits right on 5a Władysława Jagiełły, just a stone’s throw from the bustling market on Świdnicka. If you’re looking for a home‑like feel in the heart of Śródmieście, this 3‑star spot is the place to be. The building itself is a tidy, mid‑century block that’s been lovingly updated—think polished hardwood floors and plenty of windows that let the city light spill in. I remember walking in on a bright Saturday morning, the air already tinged with that familiar mix of freshly brewed coffee from the café on Ulica Różana and the faint scent of roasted chestnuts from the market stalls. The check‑in was a breeze, too: a friendly front desk clerk handed over a small keycard and a quick tour of the apartment, and I was already settling in by the time the tram rattled past.
The apartment itself is a compact yet well‑thought‑out space, perfect for solo travelers or couples who don’t want to be confined to a tiny hotel room. The living area folds into a cozy couch that, honestly, feels more like a plush lounge than a sofa—great for curling up with a book or watching a Polish film on the flat‑screen TV. The kitchenette is surprisingly functional: there’s a compact fridge, a microwave, a kettle, and a set of basic cookware that’s all you need to whip up a simple breakfast or a quick pasta. I’ve found the sink’s faucet a bit on the stiff side, but that’s a minor gripe I didn’t let bother me. The bathroom is a clean, minimalist affair with a shower that’s just the right temperature and a decent amount of privacy—no noisy pipes or dripping faucets here.
What really makes this place stand out is the vibe. The building is just a block from the University of Wrocław, so you’ll hear the hum of students and the occasional shout from a group of friends late into the night. But that energy is contained; the apartment itself is soundproofed well enough that you’ll only hear the distant clatter of a tram or the occasional street musician the corner of Piłsudskiego. If you’re a night owl, you’ll appreciate that the noise stays low after midnight, while the morning bustle of the market revives the city at 7 a.m. When it comes to parking, there’s a small underground lot right behind the building—just a few meters away—and it’s usually free for guests, which is a godsend in a city where street parking can feel like a scavenger hunt. The only downside is that the building’s elevator is a bit of a workhorse; it can be slow on weekends, but that’s a small price to pay for the convenience of not lugging luggage up the stairs.
Location-wise, you’re basically walking to everything: the iconic Hala Stulecia is a fifteen‑minute stroll, and you can hop on the tram at the Rondo Południowe stop to head to the university or the Polish Museum. If you love exploring off the beaten path, the alleys of the Old Town are just around the corner, and you’ll find a hidden bar called “Czekolada” that serves the best hot chocolate in the city—trust me, you’ll want to stop by. I’d say the best time to visit is late spring to early autumn, when the city’s streets are alive with festivals and the café terraces are in full swing. In the winter, the city takes on a quieter, more introspective mood, but the apartment’s central location means you’re still just a short walk from the Christmas market. All in all, is a solid, comfortable base that lets you experience Wrocław like a local—without having to sacrifice the conveniences of a modern stay.
Wroclaw hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in Poland’s cultural capital, known for its vibrant student life and unique bronze dwarf installations.

The flat is very modern and has a really pleasant vibe, with plenty of storage space and everything you need. It was very clean and quiet, thanks to the noise-canceling windows. There is a TV with Netflix, which can be watched from the table, bed, or couch. It's in a good neighborhood, quite close to the city. The bed was comfortable. We had a great time!

The house is relatively new, and the customer service is ready to answer any questions. The location is outside the old city, a 10-minute walk, and the price is reasonable.
