RentPlanet – Apartamenty Zajezdnia Overview
So I ended up staying at RentPlanet – Apartamenty Zajezdnia during my Wrocław trip, and honestly, it was one of those finds that really made the whole trip better. You know how some places just feel right from the moment you walk in? That was this spot. Located right on Kręta Street in Śródmieście, it’s tucked into this quiet little corner that somehow still feels central – not quite the chaos of the Market Square, but close enough that you can walk to everything without feeling like you’re trudging through tourist crowds all day.
The apartment itself was surprisingly spacious for a three-star place, and I mean that in the best way. The kitchen had actual working appliances (shocking, I know, but so many rental places have those weird European stoves that barely heat up), and there was this huge window that overlooked a small courtyard – really peaceful, especially in the morning when the light came through. I actually cooked breakfast a couple of days just because the setup made it so easy. The neighborhood is sort of residential but with these cute little cafés scattered around – there’s this one place called Kawiarnia Literacka just a few blocks away that serves the most incredible Polish coffee, very local vibe, nothing touristy about it. Parking was a bit of a hunt, I’ll be honest – I ended up leaving my car at a public lot about five minutes away and just walking, which honestly wasn’t a big deal since everything was so walkable.
What really impressed me about RentPlanet was how quiet it stayed even during what I’m pretty sure was their busy season. I was there in late spring, and the apartment next to mine never felt like it had constant foot traffic or loud guests, which can be a nightmare in these older European buildings. The check-in process was straightforward enough – the host met me downstairs and walked me through everything, which I appreciated since I’m always that person who forgets how the washing machine works in rental places. The bed was comfortable, which sounds basic but after some of the places I’ve stayed, it’s worth mentioning. There’s a bit of street noise in the evening when people are out, but nothing crazy – you get used to the rhythm of the neighborhood pretty quickly. Honestly, if you’re looking for a spot that feels authentic to Wrocław without being in your face about it, RentPlanet is a solid choice. I’d definitely stay there again if I’m back in the city.
