RentPlanet – Studio Dworcowa Overview

So I ended up staying at RentPlanet – Studio Dworcowa last month when I was in Wrocław for a friend’s wedding, and honestly, it was one of those finds that feels a bit too good to be true. The studio is tucked away on Dworcowa Street, which sounds fancy but it’s actually this quiet little strip right near the train station – you know, the area where all the older buildings have that worn charm and you can still smell fresh bread from the bakery that’s been there since who knows when. The location is really the star here; you’re close enough to walk to the Market Square in about ten minutes, but far enough that you don’t get the constant tourist foot traffic right outside your window.

The studio itself is pretty smartly designed – I mean, it’s clearly aimed at people who don’t need all the frills but want something clean and functional. The kitchenette has everything you’d actually use, which was perfect since I picked up some local cheese and bread from the little shop on Kazimierza Wielkiego Street (seriously, grab some oscypek while you’re there) and didn’t want to eat out every meal. The bed was surprisingly comfortable for a budget place, though I did notice that if you’re a really light sleeper, you might catch some street noise in the morning when the delivery trucks start making their rounds around 7 AM. The bathroom is compact but well-ventilated, which I always appreciate – nothing worse than stepping into a damp, musty space after a long day of sightseeing.

What really impressed me was how straightforward everything was. Check-in was at this little desk right near the entrance, and the guy there actually gave me some solid recommendations for places that weren’t overrun with tourists – he pointed me toward this amazing pierogi spot on Bernardyńska that most travel guides don’t mention. The neighborhood itself has this authentic feel; there are families hanging laundry, old guys playing chess near the small park, and actual locals going about their day rather than a street full of souvenir shops. I’d say this place works best for someone who wants to experience Wrocław like a local while still having that reliable base to come back to. The 7.9 rating they have is probably from people who, like me, were genuinely surprised by how much thought went into the details without breaking the bank.
