Right in the heart of Wroclaw Overview
Right in the heart of Wroclaw is tucked onto the first floor of a cozy building at 30 Kiełbaśnicza, right where the cobblestones of Stare Miasto meet the lively buzz of the Market Square. I walked in on a breezy Saturday morning, the kind of day when the whole city feels like it’s breathing a little easier. The lobby was warm, with a big wooden desk that looked like something out of a Polish film. The staff—an older lady with a quick smile—checked me in so fast you’d think she’d seen me before. She handed me a key card, said a quick “Dzień dobry,” and then pointed me toward the elevator that goes up to my room on the left side of the building. That was the first time I saw how the building’s architecture feels almost like a secret door into the old city. (Honestly, the hallway was lined with framed photos of the Wroclaw Cathedral, so you can feel the city’s history right from the get-go.)
When I finally settled into the room, the view was nothing short of satisfying. The window faced a narrow alley that was quieter than the main square, but still, you could hear the faint hum of the river and the distant clatter from the nearby German Theatre. The room itself was a clean, minimalist space—just enough to get by, with a comfy bed that had a linen feel you don’t always find in a three‑star spot. The bathroom was a touch older, but the cabinet was well stocked with local-made soaps that smelled like fresh bread from the market. The Wi‑Fi was speedy enough, and the TV had a decent selection of Polish channels, which came in handy for catching a local sports match or a movie in Polish. The only thing that could have been better was the small fan that’s always a bit noisy at night; I had my earplugs ready just in case.
Parking is a real plus because you’re in the heart of the city and you might still want to explore on a rented bike. There’s a paid underground parking garage right next to the building, which costs a small fee but is a lifesaver when you’re looking for a secure spot. Street parking is also an option, though you’ll need to watch for the “no parking” signs that appear around the Cathedral’s perimeter after 10 p.m. Speaking of noise, the hotel is surprisingly quiet in the evenings—most of the night‑time chatter comes from the bars across the street, and the building’s thick walls keep those sounds at bay. The only slight hiccup I noticed was the room’s lack of a dedicated coffee maker; a kettle is available, so you’ll need to bring your own coffee pod if you’re a caffeine junkie.
I spent a couple of nights here, and each time I walked out, I’d find myself grabbing a coffee at the small café that opens right next door (the one that serves the best pierogi in town). It’s a real treat to sit on the sidewalk and watch the city’s rhythm. If you’re planning a trip to Wroclaw, this place is a solid choice: friendly staff, decent rooms, great location right next to the Old Market Square, and a vibe that feels like you’re staying in an apartment that’s been there for generations. The only suggestion for improvement? Maybe a bit more soundproofing on the right side of the building where the street traffic is louder, but honestly, it’s a minor detail that hardly shadows the overall positive experience. The rating of 9 stars is well earned, and I’d definitely recommend staying here if you want an authentic slice of Wroclaw life without the extra cost of a luxury stay.

The apartment's name is correct, it is right in the heart of Wroclaw.
It's a small apartment but has pretty much everything you need. There is an equipped kitchen, a shower room and a lounge with sofa bed, smart TV and gaming machine and a bedroom with a double bed.
There are plenty of cupboards/wardrobe space.
Checking in is via a code that you will receive on the day of arrival. The owners are just a message away if needed (we didn't need anything).Kondratieva from Poland (9/10)

Great location close to the main square. Clean and a small oscillating fan was so helpful during the warm days as there is no AC. Communication was thorough and quick. Easy check-in/checkout.
