River Premium Apartment C Overview

So I ended up staying at the River Premium Apartment C last month when I was in Wrocław for a conference, and honestly, it was one of those finds that really made the trip. I mean, I wasn’t expecting much since I booked it kind of last minute, but the place just felt… right, you know? It’s tucked away on Księcia Witolda, which sounds fancy but it’s actually this quiet street that runs parallel to the river – way better than being stuck in the middle of the tourist chaos on Kazimierza Wielkiego. The apartment itself is on the third floor, and I’m not gonna lie, I was a little worried about the stairs with my suitcase, but there’s actually a decent elevator that’s newer than you’d expect.

The location is what really sold me, though. You’re close enough to walk to most of the Old Town stuff – I could hear the tram bells clanging by my window every morning, which was actually kind of charming instead of annoying. There’s this little bakery called Piekarnia Przytulanka just two blocks down that serves the most incredible sourdough bread with poppy seeds, and I think I went there every single morning. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet after 10 PM, which was perfect for me since I was traveling for work and needed to get some sleep – though I did notice some street noise from delivery trucks around 6 AM, nothing too crazy. Parking was… well, it’s Wrocław, so don’t expect to just pull up right outside. I had to park at one of those automated parking garages about five minutes away, which set me back like 120 zloty for the week, but honestly, that’s pretty reasonable for this part of town.

What surprised me most was how thoughtfully the River Premium Apartment C was put together. The kitchen had all the little things you forget about – a proper coffee maker (not one of those tiny travel ones), actual spices, even a dishwasher that actually worked. The bathroom smelled like those fancy European soaps, and the shower pressure was perfect, which sounds small but when you’re traveling… Anyway, the Wi-Fi was solid throughout the whole place, and check-in was smooth even though I arrived at like 11 PM. The host left detailed notes about which restaurants were worth the hype (apparently the pierogi place on Smugla Street is way better than the tourist trap on the main square) and which ones to avoid. I took their advice on Grabka 18 for dinner one night, and they weren’t kidding – best roasted duck I’ve had outside of Beijing. The hotel doesn’t have any of that corporate chain feel, which I really appreciated. It’s clearly run by someone who actually lives in the city and knows what travelers actually want, not just what sounds good on a website.

Exploring Wroclaw offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Poland’s cultural gem, from its magnificent Gothic architecture to its whimsical bronze dwarfs and vibrant student atmosphere.
