When I first checked into River Premium Apartments, I was struck by how the building blends that old‑school charm of Wrocław’s Śródmieście with the kind of modern touches you’d expect from a 4‑star place. The lobby feels like a cozy living room – warm wood panels, a soft sofa that actually invites you to sit for a while, and that faint scent of freshly brewed coffee from the on‑site café, “Złoty Wózek.” The staff greet you with a friendly “Witaj!” and the key‑card system is quick, though honestly, there was a bit of a wait because the front desk was juggling a couple of guests who’d just checked in earlier. The check‑in process itself was smooth, but the elevator sometimes stalls at the midway floor – just a little delay that you can ignore once you’re inside your room.

The rooms are spacious, a real treat for travelers who want a bit of extra room to spread out. I was in a double room that had floor‑to‑ceiling windows overlooking the quiet part of Księcia Witolda street. The view of the river breeze, the gentle hum of passing trams, and the occasional splash from the nearby fountain create a soothing backdrop – it’s almost like the city is whispering its stories from outside. The bed was a cloud‑like mattress with high‑quality linens that made it hard to leave in the morning. The bathroom featured a glass‑shrouded shower that surprisingly felt a bit cramped during the first shower, but the water pressure was strong enough to wash away the city’s dust. On the downside, the Wi‑Fi is a bit slow when the building’s servers are overloaded (usually after a big event in the city center), so if you’re a serial blogger, you might want to plan accordingly.

Parking is a bit of a hustle. The hotel offers an underground parking spot, but they’re limited, and you’ll often see a “no parking” sign on the street next to Księcia Witolda. I ended up parking a few blocks away near the small green space, “Łazienka Słodowa,” and walked the short distance. It’s a nice stroller‑friendly path that passes by a local bakery where the smell of rye bread wafts through the air. As for noise, the evenings are quiet – which is great if you’re looking for some downtime – but early mornings can be noisy with traffic on the roads that border the river. If you’re traveling in July or August, try to book a room on a higher floor to avoid the midday noise from the busy market square (Rynek) and the nearby tram lines. The best time to visit, in my opinion, is late spring or early fall: the city is lively enough to taste the local vibe, but not so crowded that you can’t find a quiet corner in the apartment or a quiet coffee spot on Księcia Witolda. Overall, is a solid choice for anyone who wants a comfortable, city‑centric stay with a little extra personality.

  The location was great and the apartment was very clean, kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and kitchenware.

  It is a modern apartment at the river very close to the old city center and to the district of Nadodrze, ideal for exploring the city. It is good equipped. Parking is difficult so you should consider the garage belonging to the apartment (not for free) if traveling by car. There are cafes and a small supermarket around the corner. We would book it again when in Wroclaw.

  Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und liegt direkt an der Oder. Es ist absolut sauber und wirklich gemütlich. Man kann direkt unterm Haus in einer Tiefgarage parken und mit dem Aufzug zur Wohnung. Die Gegend ist total nett, viele schöne Cafés und Restaurant und bis in die Stadt braucht man lediglich 10 Minuten. Gerne wieder!
