Speaking of which, Piaskowa is just a stone’s throw away and is a favorite among locals for its cozy cafés and artisanal ice cream shops. If you’re looking for a quick bite, the bakery on Piaskowa serves the best rye bread in town – I swear, you can taste the yeast and the sun on the same slice.

Parking is a bit of a challenge – the hotel doesn’t have a dedicated garage, so you’ll need to look for street parking which can be a game of “find the spot” especially during the summer festival season. I managed to snag a spot on the side of the building, but be ready to walk a little if you’re on a tight schedule. The noise level outside the hotel is typical for the Old Town – bustling, but not overwhelming. At night, the square’s lights cast a warm glow that invites you to wander. I actually walked to the nearby Ołbin Park after midnight and found the city’s nightlife to be surprisingly relaxed, with a few bars that offer live jazz and a few late-night cafés where you can still catch a quiet conversation. The only critique would be the check‑in timing; the front desk opens at 3 PM, so if you’re arriving early, you’ll have to wait for the room to be ready. But that’s a small price to pay for staying in such a central, character-filled spot that feels like home rather than a hotel. Overall, is the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer and keep exploring the city’s hidden corners, one cobblestone at a time.
