Maybe it’s the blackout curtains or just how quiet it gets after midnight, but there’s something peaceful about falling asleep in the heart of the city.

Now, a couple real talk points – check-in was smooth once I figured out where the entrance was (the building has one of those old Wrocław courtyards that’s sort of hidden), and the host was super helpful about recommending local spots that aren’t in any guidebook. Parking is tricky if you’re driving – I’d actually recommend just taking an Uber since the Luminous Apartment is so walkable to everything anyway. Also, if you’re staying in the summer, book early because the square gets pretty lively with events and festivals. The neighborhood quiets down nicely after 10 PM though, so it’s not like you’re dealing with constant noise. I mean, there might be some evening foot traffic since it’s in the old town, but nothing crazy.
