Siódme Niebo Overview
Siódme Niebo sits tucked into the cobblestone maze of Kołłątaja Street, right where the old city breathes. If you’re strolling past the Wrocław Cathedral, you’ll see the building’s pastel façade peeking out from behind the baroque spires of the Town Hall. It’s a 3‑star spot, but honestly, the vibe feels more like a hidden apartment than a chain hotel. The check‑in desk is on the ground floor, and the staff greets you with a warm “Witaj!”—no automated voice here, just a friendly face. They’ll hand you a small keycard, and you’ll notice the little leather keychain that’s a favorite among locals; it’s a subtle nod to the city’s heritage.
Parking is a bit of a gamble in Stare Miasto, but I found a discreet spot just off Ulica Słowackiego, about a 5‑minute walk from the hotel. The lot is a bit on the older side, with a metal gate that creaks when you open it—familiar squeak that reminds you you’re in a place with history. When you’re driving in, the traffic can get a bit chaotic around the Market Square in the afternoon, but the hotel’s concierge will usually point you toward the nearest parking entrance before you get stuck in a jam. Noise-wise, it’s a mixed bag: the city’s nightlife starts buzzing around 10 p.m., but the inn’s thick stone walls keep the street chatter at a polite whisper. You can hear the distant clink of glasses from the nearby “Chleb i Wino” tavern on the corner, which is a nice background score if you’re in the mood for a casual evening.
The rooms are modest but tastefully appointed. I stayed in the twin suite on the third floor—sunlight pours in from the small window overlooking the square, and the view of the Cathedral’s spire is a subtle reminder of Wrocław’s medieval roots. The bed is surprisingly comfortable, and the shower has that classic European steam feel that makes you forget you’re in a hotel. The minibar is stocked with local Polish vodkas and some imported candles, which is a thoughtful touch. If you’re a foodie, you’ll appreciate that the breakfast includes fresh bread from the nearby bakery, a bit of smoked sausage, and a selection of cheeses that would make a local chef proud. The Wi‑Fi is decent, but the connection sometimes hiccups during rush hours—nothing too dramatic, just a gentle pause that forces you to look out the window instead of scrolling.
Walking out onto the street, you’re right in the heart of the city. The market stalls on Rynek are a few steps away, and you can hear the chatter of tourists and locals mingling. If you’re looking for a quiet place to sit and people‑watch, the café on the corner of Kołłątaja and Słowackiego offers a spot by the window with a view of the cathedral’s bell tower. The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring the University of Wrocław or the National Museum, which are both a 10‑minute stroll away. I’d say the best time to visit is during the shoulder season, when the streets are less crowded but the city still has its lively energy.
All in all, feels like a home away from home. The staff are genuinely friendly, the rooms are comfortable, and the location is right in the middle of all the action without being overwhelmed by it. You’ll get a taste of the city’s heartbeat, and you’ll leave with stories about the cobblestones, the cathedral, and that little keychain that feels like a secret handshake with Wrocław. If you’re planning a trip to the old town, this place is worth a stop—just remember to bring a pair of comfortable shoes for the cobblestones and a sense of adventure for the unexpected, yet charming, moments that come along the way.

This is a really cosy place to stay. Really well located, 5 min walking to the train station, 15min to the Rynek, 5 min from the public bus to the airport. The kitchen is really well-equipped, there are books and puzzles for kids. The tramway/busses are just down the avenue, and there are many shops and restaurants down the flat. we will come back for sure ☺️
