Spacious and Bright Apartments in the Heart of Wroclaw, fast WiFi, Parking, Ruska 5 Overview
Spacious and Bright Apartments in the Heart of Wroclaw sits right on Ruska Street, just a stone’s throw from the old town’s buzzing market square. I’ve been back a few times, and honestly, the first thing that strikes you is how the building’s brick façade looks almost like a postcard—you know, the kind you’d frame and hang up after a trip. Inside, the apartment itself is a bright, airy space that feels more like a modern loft than a hotel room. The walls are light, the windows are big, and you get that crisp, fresh scent of the city’s morning coffee that you catch when you open the curtains. The fast WiFi is a lifesaver if you’re trying to catch up on emails or stream the latest Polish series; the connection just never hiccups, even when the whole city’s traffic lights start flickering because of the rush hour.
When you step out onto the street, the first street you’ll notice is the old cobbles of the Rynek, the heart of Stare Miasto, just a two‑minute walk away. The café terraces spill onto the square, and you can hear the chatter of locals and tourists alike, the clink of espresso cups, the occasional shout from a street vendor selling pierogi. I’ve walked past the stunning Gothic facades of St. John’s Cathedral and the old town hall, and you can even see the river Spree in the distance—its gentle hum a background soundtrack to your day. If you’re looking for a quick lunch, the “Karczma Plater” on the corner offers a surprisingly authentic taste of Polish dumplings; the smell of the simmering broth makes you feel like you’re part of the community.
Parking is a huge plus, especially if you’re with a car. There’s a dedicated spot on the street right outside the building—free parking during weekdays, and the city’s pay‑and‑display system kicks in during the weekend. I remember that one night in late October when the city was on a late‑night pizza run; the street was a bit noisy, but the apartment stayed surprisingly quiet. The windows are insulated well enough that you don’t hear the traffic unless you’re a night owl. Earlier in the day, you might catch the sound of cars passing by, but it’s usually a low‑key hum that doesn’t disturb your sleep.
Check‑in was surprisingly breezy. The front desk staff greeted me with a warm smile, handed me a key card, and gave me a quick rundown of the apartment’s amenities. I appreciated the little touches: a locally sourced coffee blend in the kitchen, a small guidebook with my favorite street names (like “Nabiałowa” for dairy shops and “Słodka” for sweets), and a map highlighting the best spots for evening strolls. They were also handy with directions to the nearest tram stop, which is just a block away and plugs right into the city’s extensive network. When I asked about the WiFi, they confirmed they had updated the routers just last summer, so the connection is solid—no lagging or buffering.
One thing I noticed, though, is that the apartment’s kitchen is compact. It’s perfect for a quick breakfast or a single bowl of soup, but if you’re trying to cook a full meal, you’ll want to keep it simple. The fridge is a decent size, but the oven is on the smaller side. That said, the bathroom is surprisingly spacious, with a shower that has a nice water pressure—a relief after a day on the tram. The beds are comfy, and the linens feel like a fresh breeze on a sunny day. The overall vibe is very home‑like, which I love because it feels less like a hotel and more like a place you can actually stay and relax.
In short, if you’re heading into Wroclaw and want a place that feels like a modern, bright loft in the heart of the old town, this is the spot. The location, the parking, the fast WiFi, and the friendly staff make it a solid choice, especially during the busy summer season when the streets are bustling. When the city’s lights flicker at night and the cobblestones echo your footsteps, you’ll find yourself wanting to stay a little longer. So, pack your bags, bring your camera, and let the city’s charm wrap around you in a comforting, well‑wired embrace. Happy travels!

I wasn't sure what to expect since the photos in the listing aren't bound to particular apartments – but it was surprisingly spacious, clean and decently supplied. Actually functioning AC is a huge advantage in the summer – so is the location. Clear instructions and communication with the front office.

The apartment was spacious and well decorated. Bed and sofa were very comfortable. Arrival instructions were super clear and the host was very responsive. The apartment was very well equipped with a DeLonghi coffee machine (with coffee, or various teas), very efficient iron (with an ironing table) and even condom, tampon and hygienic pad in the bathroom.

Spacious appartment right in the down Town. Good size bed and comfortable matrac. App no 5 is facing to the quiet backyard, wich means, that you can sleep with windows open in silence. This is very unusual and nice surprice in the city center. Underground garage is nearby.
